5 bedroom beautiful home backing onto fish creek park in the estates of Deer Run & siding a playground. This meticulously kept home that is newly renovated. It boasts 3200 sqft of living space. It is like acreage living in the city, it is quiet with an abundance of wildlife. Fish creek is one of the largest urban parks in North America, you are able to go to the river, fish, use the pathway system, bird watch, cross country ski all outside the back gate.
Main floor boasts a gourmet kitchen with a gas range, stainless steel appliances and custom cabinetry. The kitchen comes fully stocked. There is a massive dining room to host your gathering. Two large sitting rooms with a fireplace. A laundry room/mudroom with custom lockers, and a 1/2 bath complete the main floor.
Upstairs you are greeted by large bookshelf filled with books for all ages. The master bedroom with king bed & newly renovated ensuite with steam shower. The 2nd bedroom has a single.
The 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds. The 4th bedroom has a playpen with a rocking chair. All linens are included in the bedrooms.
Downstairs in the developed basement you will find TV room, fusbol & play room. The 5th bedroom is massive with a single/double bunk beds. Another bathroom with shower completes the basement.
Outside you can enjoy your evenings on the patio using the 6 burner BBQ in the meticulously kept yard with cement patio and large picnic table.

Summary: This property is recently renovated and very clean. Quiet location and provincial park access directly out the back gate. Great location to rest and recharge while still having close (driving) access to city life. Our host was responsive and good with communication (she was forthright about being out of coverage for a couple days and quickly took care of the BBQ hookup when we were unable to manage it ourselves). The owners clearly take excellent care of this home and it shows. Thank you for a wonderful accomodation.

Summary: This house was perfect for a stay with kids. It has been updated and the kitchen and bathrooms were very nice. Plenty of space and the park next door was a bonus. Nice neighbourhood and Arika was a wonderful host. She was very helpful and accommodating. Thanks for having us in your home!

Summary: House worked well for our family but we did have to bring a couple of air mattresses as one bedroom is a nursery with only a crib. Great location with playground right next door and a trampoline in backyard. Located within in a provincial park so wonderful sights and walking trails. Good for kids!

Summary: This second stay reminded us how much we liked this property. The kiddies park next door, Fish Creek Park just behind, the children’s trampoline (what a nice surprise), and the numerous places to gather were just a few of the highlights.

Summary: Plenty of room for our group of 7 (4 adults and 3 tweens). The home was cozy and comfortable. The air conditioner in the master bedroom was amazing for the heat wave Calgary had at the time we were there. The kids loved the trampoline in the backyard, and the provincial park entry in the backyard was great! The steam shower was awesome! Some confusion with the rate was a little bothersome, and the fact that we had to empty the dishwasher when we got there was a little odd. Also, some dishes/utensils/pans in the cupboards were not as clean as I would have liked. Overall, a great family reunion!

Summary: We were finally able to make it back to Calgary to visit the family. The house was perfect. Our daughter and family came up from Lethbridge and our other two daughters with husbands and kids in tow came for dinner. Kids had a fantastic time at the park. Girls all visited in the diningroom. Boys had quality time in the backyard. This house had everything we could have wanted. Many thanks to our hosts, it was a very special time.

Summary: Arika was a very kind and helpful host. Any issues we had were quickly resolved. The house size was very comfortable for our big family. The park in the back was excellent for the kids. They had a blast here. The house is newly updated and the three large living room areas were comfortable.
