2 Bedroom Condo in Nellysford, Wintergreen

We are Slope-side with a full view to the North/East, Dobie Mountain Condominium, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, and recently installed all new windows so you can really enjoy the amazing views. Sunken sunroom with fireplace and spectacular view overlooking the slopes, express lift, and snowboard park. You don't have to leave the condo to watch Freestyles double cross races! Master bedroom over looking the slopes. Unit is in walking distance to the main lodge for shopping and dining. Reserved parking place.
Although well known for ski season, Spring, Summer, and Fall are our favorite times of year to visit Wintergreen. There are way too many outdoor activities to list, but a couple of our favorites are tennis, golf, hiking, wine tasting, antiquing, music festivals and The Dome, The Wintergreen Nature Center, and just sitting on our balcony taking in the fresh mountain air. The Out of Bounds Adventure Park has a skateboard park, paintball, and the recently added zipline. Professional guides are available for mountain biking. Our dog loves to go hiking all around Wintergreen. Lake Monocan is near by and has numerous activities available. Everything is centrally located and there is Shuttle service located right in front of our condo, which is available from 7AM until Midnight so driving is optional.
Do you have young children? The Treehouse is a one minute walk and offers half and full day children's activities. The staff is amazing and keep the children busy.
Please note. Wintergreen changed their policy and no longer issues members (us) "Guest of a member" cards. However, if you let us know you are interested in using the amenities like Wintergreen Spa (pool and fitness), Devils Grill, Golf or tennis we can register you as guests of members and you will pick up a pass the day of your arrival.

Summary: We LOVED our stay at this adorable condo in Wintergreen. I loved being able to see the kids ride up the lift and talk to them before they disappeared into the snow trails again. Our youngest (teenager) loved the freedom of closing down the slopes each night when the rest of us were wiped out. The condo had an adorable fireplace area to cozy up around, the rooms were good size. Bunks need to be a little bigger in height for bottom use, but all and all the house was great.

Summary: My wife, three daughters (ages: 5y, 3y, 11m), and I stayed in this lovely slope-side condo the weekend of 2/20-24/25. This was our first trip to Wintergreen with children and this condo was perfect for it, the condo provided a prime location for viewing the ski slopes and easy accessibility to the slopes for us to come and go. It was our oldest and middle daughter’s first time skiing, so easy access to the condo for those times they wanted to warm up or grab a bite to eat was essential and this condo served that purpose perfectly. We look forward to many more ski trips and would love to stay here again in the future!

Summary: We had a terrifying drive in a snowstorm to the unit . One more inch and we would have been sliding backwards ( always take a 4 wheel drive ) Had snow chains but lost one about an hour away . But when we got to our unit it was a wonderful relief , very cozy and comfortable . This unit has spectacular views . The night skiiing view and the sunrise was truly magical . Our 2 ski days were perfect ! It was worth the drive ! Would definitely book again .

Summary: It doesn’t get better than this for location at wintergreen. Especially if you’re traveling with teens who can swing in and out for snacking and getting warm at will. Host was wonderful and very communicative. Only had a couple of issues. The light over the stove wasn’t working but I’m sure they’ll have replaced that by next visitors. One thing to be cautious of is that the stove vent is one of those microwave vents above the stovetop that was so prevalent in the 80s/early 90s. If you’re searing with the large front eye then the microwave vents don’t stick out far enough over the pan to capture all the smoke so you’ll need to move to a rear location or you’ll get smoked out. We lived this place though and would happily rent it again.

Summary: This exceeded all of my expectations. This was a perfect getaway for a Dad and four teen boys. The kitchen had everything I needed to keep to fuel going for them to ski in/out all day and night.The fireplace and provided firewood is perfect for quickly drying ski gear along with the dryer, and the radiant heaters. We walked to dinner, I did work in the Mountain Inn one afternoon and waved at my crew as they walked around and met others in their cohort.Most amazing memory is sitting on the balcony, my kid yelling out "Hey dad, I'm hungry" and I said come inside, and 2 minutes later he walked over to the door to this wonderful condo. Love this place. Life memories.This is a gem. I cannot wait to go back!

Summary: Excellent location! Watch all the activities in the main area. I got to see Oktoberfest and the Haunted Ski Lift rides. Roomy condo. Warming sun in the morning and cool breezes at night. Look forward to going back!
