2 Bedroom Cabin in Waterbury

Nestled in the woods looking up at Camels Hump is our cozy little cabin. A perfect getaway spot with unsurpassed views of the mountain. Camels Hump is Vermont's highest peak that is not developed by a ski area. It's all wilderness.
Feels like you’re a million miles away but it’s only a 15 minute drive from town and 4 major ski areas, Stowe, Sugarbush, Mad River and Bolton Valley are about 1/2 half hour away.
Camels Hump trail head is right down the road for access to awesome hiking, back country and XC skiing. Very rustic but with all the amenities.
It’s really not so little - about 1800 sq ft. with 2 bedrooms, large living room with massive field stone fireplace, well appointed kitchen and a spacious bath.
The upstairs master bedroom is huge with a king bed and large sitting area.
The downstairs bedroom is large also and has 2 queen beds. Amenities include washer/dryer, propane heat, all cookware and linens.
Although the roads are very well maintained snow tires, 4 wheel drive or AWD are recommended in winter months or mud season. The Cabin is 7 miles from town.

Summary: Beautiful view comfortable vacation home just the recipe for a chill relaxing stay. Bolton Valley resort and Waterbury village each a 25 minute drive was the icing on the cake with great skiing and cute restaurants with great food. We’ll be back.

Summary: John's cabin is fantastic. The cabin provides everything you need for a great mountain getaway. 4wd/awd is a must to get up the hills, but once there the experience is great. John even shoveled the snow on the path and deck for us during our stay. 10/10 would recommend.

Summary: Very nice quiet location. The cabin was great. This is a very good location for dogs. There is a nice waterfall trail just down the road for morning walks. The fireplace and lots of wood kept us toasty.

Summary: Amazing location and very rustic cabin. My wife and I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing place to recharge. The cabin has great views, a great fireplace and a nearby brook that provides a great relaxing sound to fall asleep to.

Summary: What a wonderful getaway! We had a great time with the family. We skied at Stowe 2 days in a row and then came home and cooked a wonderful dinner. We explored the quaint towns close by and loved being in the mountains. The cabin is clean and cozy with wonderful views. It was perfect for a family of 5 with three adult children. It was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. John was very attentive and always available if needed. We will be back!

Summary: My husband and I spent a week at the house and it was perfect for us! We loved exploring the nearby hiking trails and streams with our dog everyday. We took day trips to Stowe too and it was so easy to get there, and the downtown Watertown area was not far either. Despite the convenient places to go, the house felt very private and remote. Would love to stay again!
