You will love the unobstructed panoramic views across Quahog Bay from almost every room in the house!
**For June, July and August stays of 7 nights minimum are required, with a Sunday check in, & Sunday departure. Shorter stays available for spring/fall. **
We are in a quiet neighborhood, on a quaint island road - the spectacular oceanfront views await you. You will realize how special Harpswell is the second you drive over the bridge on to Sebascodegan Island. There’s something magical being right on the water.
You will get to experience amazing sunrises! But you are conveniently close to everything! We have one of the darkest skies you will ever see for enjoying stargazing. It’s hard to believe that you are less than 10 mins to Brunswick’s Cook’s Corner shopping and restaurant area.
As you enter our cottage you are lead into the bright, open and fully stocked kitchen, with a bar style eating area. Straight through the kitchen, you are greeted by the cozy living room that leads to a very large outside deck. The charming cottage also offers 2 bedrooms on the main floor, one with a queen size bed and the other with 2 twins. A large loft is on the second floor, with 2 queen beds and a twin daybed. The home will comfortably sleep 6 (adults) - One full bathroom is also featured on the main floor.
You will have numerous options outside including a patio, gazebo and deck presenting elevated, unhindered ocean views. The front patio is where you will find the gas grill along with the lobster cooker. There is also a nice size side yard for your enjoyment. Enjoy the sunrises and gorgeous sunsets while sipping your morning coffee and evening cocktails, while listening to the sounds of the ocean.
Having your own private deep water dock, float, and mooring is a huge added bonus! Bring your own boat, or use our kayaks and explore the wonderful coves in the area. Make sure you check out the resident bald eagles. There is a boat yard for launching your boat just a few minutes away.
In addition to boating, there’s many hiking trails, gift shops, great restaurants and many nooks and crannies to explore along the shores. Brunswick, Bath, Portland, and Freeport (home of LL Bean) are close but a day spent to explore the other coastal towns that line Route 1 is a must! Popham Beach, the most spectacular stretch of sandy beach in Maine, along with historical forts, Phippsburg, Boothbay Harbor, and Bar Harbor are also great day trips!
Take the train from Brunswick to Boston or travel the Maine coast. Brunswick is also home to Bowdoin College, which offers the Maine State Music Theatre, with superb productions and museums to enjoy!
When you are done exploring, come home and pick up some fresh caught lobster and steam them in the lobster cooker on the deck while watching the boats come in!

Summary: Though the weather didn’t cooperate the entire stay, we were able to view eagles, seals and local water fowl right from the dock. Very enjoyable stay. Lovely cottage.

Summary: We were a group of women looking to explore Midcoast Maine, and this was the perfect place to stay. It felt remote and was quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes to a big grocery store and very close to Brunswick. The cottage had all we needed, and the house manager was on top of it. We were at risk of a hurricane and the house was already stocked with flashlights and extra water and we were kept updated about the circumstances. As it turned out there was nothing besides some wind and a little rain but we appreciated the attention to detail. The cottage was small but perfectly laid out with a gorgeous view of the cove.

Summary: What a beautiful location and such a nice cottage. We loved the loft area, great deck and the access to the water was wonderful. Kayaks were a nice benefit since we did not have our own boat to dock. We had a nice family weekend here despite a lot of rain!

Summary: Can't say enough about this property. The house is meticulous and includes loads of details and amenities that you won't find in other listings. We loved sitting on the dock, watching the boats on the water, the wildlife, and we even met the amazing neighbors up the hill. We will definitely be back!

Summary: Welcoming, clean, cozy and well-equipped kitchen. Watched exquisite sunrises and moonrise over Snow Island to the east. Great for bird watching, not great if you want to go for walks.

Summary: This was the perfect spot to explore Harpswell and surrounding areas. The house was extremely clean and comfortable, and the water view from the living room was beautiful. I enjoyed peaceful breakfasts each morning out on the deck. We missed seeing the seals, but did spot two eagles when using the two provided single-person kayaks. We were there during a bit of a heat wave, so were very grateful for the bedroom air conditioners! The house is close to many outdoor adventures and attractions. We especially enjoyed the hiking trails, a fun boat tour with Capt. Len of Casco Bay Sights-n-Lights, and a trip to beautiful Popham Beach. And, of course, there are many spots close by to get delicious seafood meals! The property manager was great, and the house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation! We hope to return someday!

Summary: Gorgeous views. Great location. LOTS of choices for beds to sleep in and wonderful views both inside and out to enjoy your morning coffee or drinks later in the day. We didn't use the kayaks as they're one person and our kids are too young to go solo, but lots of amenities and household items provided. Property management responded promptly to assist with one issue related to a door lock. Only 15 minutes to Brunswick for groceries, restaurants etc. and about 30-40 minutes to lots of local attractions both natural and otherwise. Be sure to check out Pammy Ice Cream Parlor - wonderful friendly owners and fabulous ice cream. Tree swings for kiddos and cornhole for grownups. Would definitely rent here again!
