Positive: Very quaint old stone house in the middle of more or less nowhere - just perfect. Yiannis, the host and owner, welcomed us on site and explained everything and is available for questions via WhatsApp. He also recommended a really nice local taverna where we had dinner twice (Maria’s; walking distance). The house has everything you can ask for, really well equipped and spacious rooms.

Negative: Nothing really, we wished we could have stayed a bit longer.

Negative: We prefer the bed to have two separate mattresses. But nevertheless the villa is an excellent choice.

Positive: Cleanliness, tranquility, friendly owner, easy personal key handover, excellent information about interesting places in the area (monuments and beaches). Easy to find using Google maps. Not far (100 meters) from the accommodation is an excellent taverna run by Mrs. Maria. Here you will experience traditional Greek cuisine and the unique atmosphere of a Greek village. Marei is the Sun that will brighten your day. She serves the best feta and excellent rakia. The village of Vasiliky breathes typical Greek life, the people here are very friendly. This is an accommodation that I would like to visit again.

Positive: Extremely friendly owners. Always available via WhatsApp if there are any questions. The apartment is located in a small village with one of the best Tavernas you will find anywhere on the island just 200m away. I had the smaller of the two apartments which are both in an old stone house which has been renovated very nicely.

Negative: I think the only negative point of the apartment was being located directly at a road intersection, but fortunately, there is not much traffic in the village. Mainly just farm vehicles and residents coming and going.

Positive: The location is 'close to nature' in a small village on the slopes of the Asterousia Mountains. However, all necessary services can be found in the nearby village, and there are many attractions within a reasonable distance. The house is well-equipped; we couldn't think of anything we needed that wasn't already there. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful.

Negative: The shower cabin could have been bigger. However, we managed with it, and yes, I am a big guy, over 100 kg. The bed mattresses were too soft for my taste, but of course, this is a matter of preference; someone else might find them absolutely great.
