Summary: We ventured to North Texas for a wedding. Kids spouses and 5 grandbabies in tow. Sunrise Ranch is a beautiful home with tons of room. Very nice furnishings and comfy beds. We enjoyed our family time there, although there were a few issues. David is accommodating, apologetic and was a really nice guy. I have short term rentals so I know how important it is to be proactive and make every stay, the guests best stay. After we arrived we discovered there was no gas for cooking. An oversight, but an important thing to check as there are no nearby stores or restaurants. Bring your own bath products. There isn’t soap, shampoo or body scrub in the showers, bathtubs. BYOBlowdrier too. The salt tank for the water softener was empty and the water is quite hard. The hot tub wasn’t operable until after the gas guys came. Then the pool guys came to clean the pool and turned the spa off. He had to dismantle the system bc the filters were so clogged. We have that same system and my husband was able to figure out how to get it back up and running. The master bedroom air did not work. Thankfully we had a few cool days so we opened a window for breeze. A bit of TLC is all she needs. Be careful as you arrive at the gate. The train tracks are right there. And the train does come by quite often. It will scare the bejusus out of you. The Walmart is about 20 minutes away and there’s a dollar general fairly close that is well stocked. The ranch is gorgeous and the wrangler on site is sweet.

Summary: I would describe this property as homey elegance. There is plenty of room for everyone both inside and out. The pool was large and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to getaway with a short drive from the DFW area. If exploring is your thing the 300 plus acres will keep you busy. We caught several bass and catfish at the main pond. Lisa, one of the caretakers, was so awesome.. She let us interact with her horses and asked if we needed anything. We didn’t but it was nice of her to offer.

Summary: The grandkids had a blast in the pool, riding their 4wheelers and visiting with the cows. We turned off our clocks and was on vacation time! Would love to visit again!!

Summary: We loved staying here - it worked great for our family vacation and Dave and Liz were very helpful and responsive. The area is beautiful. The pool was great for all of us. Our grandkids and kids loved fishing in the pond. As my 6 year old granddaughter said: "This is the best vacation ever."

Summary: We loved our family weekend at Sunrise Ranch! The lovely, comfortable house is surrounded by abundant beautifully kept acreage. There was plenty of space for "pasture golf" and a big, spotless clean refreshing pool. We were able to have silly, noisy big family fun together. Our hosts were kind, patient, and responsive. Our crew is ages 6 to 74 -- we all had a blast!

Summary: We very much enjoyed our time at Sunrise ranch. Everything was as described or better. We enjoyed the the morning sunrises and the evening sunsets on the stunning property. The spacious interior and openness of the layout allowed everyone to participate during meal prep or serving. The pool and outdoor space was enjoyed by everyone. Beautiful furnishings and amenities !

Summary: We had a fantastic time at the Sunrise Ranch. The house was beautiful and very clean. They have the kitchen stocked with high end cookware that was great to use while making meals. We enjoyed hiking through the pastures and exploring the property and loved spending time fishing at the pond. We even caught a few fish! We spent most of our time outside taking in the beautiful view. We will definitely be booking Sunrise ranch again!

Summary: We spent 3 nights with friends and family at this property and just wish we had more time. The house is beautiful - loved seeing cows on the grounds and lots of deer. Enjoyed the hiking trails and fishing in the ponds. Star-gazing was incredible (especially from hot tub at night). Excellent hosts made us feel at home and took care of everything. Lots of privacy. Only took us about 40 minutes to get there from Fort Worth. Highly recommend!
