3 Bedroom House in Millersport

Welcome to our modern farmhouse lakefront 3-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home. This sunset view gem is perfect for family vacation, a girls/guys weekend or attending an event at the winery or central Ohio/Columbus. Full remodel in 2019. Our home is the only rental with full sunset view from inside and outside the house all summer long. 70 feet of waterfront, a large waterfront porch, waterfront screened in porch and over the water deck for entertaining. This house is really comfortable with all new kitchen and new 2 1/2 baths. The home includes a brand new kitchen with granite countertops, Kenmore Elite appliances and beautiful maple floors. The spacious dining room is open to the kitchen for great entertaining space and a half bath nearby.
The large living room is light and bright with really comfortable new furniture, space for playing games, watching a movie, all with expansive views of the lake. Outside the lakefront living room is an expansive open porch and screened in porch too. Then a cool plank walkway to the large over-the-water deck and dock space. This is great for entertaining, watching the sunset, parking your boat, kayaking and watching the blue heron that it a frequent morning visitor to our dock. Off the kitchen is a new trellised porch which is great for enjoying your morning coffee and grilling too.
Upstairs the charm of modern farmhouse continues with high ceilings along with the comforts of new light and bright bathrooms with cool marble and brick accents. There is a master suite with cathedral ceilings, amazing views, new master bath, new comfortable queen bed and plenty of room for relaxing. The charming light and bright second bedroom has two new comfortable queen beds and sleeps (4). The cozy and bright third bedroom has a new comfortable queen and twin bed ... sleeps (3). Home sleeps a total of 9. The family bathroom- shower/ large tub and marble vanity and the master bathroom with a large shower, granite vanity and amazing views of the lake. New laundry area is upstairs too. The entire house has new central air and a gas furnace for warm heat in the winter.
Outside off the living room you can enjoy plenty of entertaining space on the new porch, large screened in porch or the over-the-lake deck. The over-the-lake deck is great for enjoying the sun and watching sunsets.
If you want to get out on the water, we have 3 kayaks that you can rent. Have your own boat? You can park it at our dock or you can rent a boat nearby too. There are also boats for rent at boatsetter.com (search Buckeye Lake.) The yard has a beautiful new wood fence around the property with gated access to the over the water deck/dock.
Our home is located 29 miles from Columbus airport on my favorite part of Buckeye Lake in Millersport. Our quaint town has restaurants, an excellent butcher shop for all your grilling needs and three marinas nearby. Weldon's Ice Cream shop is a family favorite and is arguably the best ice cream, serving the lake for 70 years. We are a 5 minute drive or a 10 minute boat drive to Buckeye Lake Winery, the yacht club and other fun places on the lake.
If you want a clean, beautifully decorated, waterfront, comfortable home for your retreat, with sunset views this is the best house for you!
We are conveniently located in Millersport, 6 minutes from Buckeye Lake Winery, near any event near Buckeye Lake, events in Columbus or OSU (only 30 miles), events in Licking or Fairfield County ( only 0-30 miles), southern Ohio-O.U. or Hocking Hills ( 30-45 miles)

Summary: I rented this home for a cookout and celebration for my sons football team championship win. this home was beautiful. the lake sits directly in the backyard perfect for kayaking and cooking out. the boys loved fishing off the deck! home is ideal location and I will be planning another return.

Summary: Came to Ohio for a wedding and this house was the perfect place for my siblings and I to have space to relax and play games together and eat at before and after the event. The house had lots of space to take in views of the lake and we each got the comfort and privacy we wanted in the house also.

Summary: Our group greatly enjoyed staying at Annie's house on the lake! A large space with lots of comfy seating, indoors and outdoors. Annie was responsive and made everything easy. We plan to stay here again on our future trips!

Summary: The house is just ok. The yard looked in disrepair and overgrown. The screen porch is practically falling down... peeling paint, ripped screen, hole in ceiling. Did not keep out the bugs. Couldn’t use it. There is no boat rental on the lake even though it’s stated in the house material. We tried several places and they all said no one rents on the lake. Also the homeowner states no swimming from the dock or house as a “rule” due to association and fines can be given for violation. We talked to several neighbors and they said that was not true. The house itself looks like a weekend flipper project. Not bad... but not great either. Kitchen is sparsely stocked if you like to cook. Owner waters down all of the soaps detergents provided which just felt cheap. The lake is pretty to look at but is soooo dirty and unsafe. One of the grossest water we’d seen... green, murky and nasty. We didn’t dare even think of kayaking or getting near the water... so the no swimming was ok even if not true. We spent a lot time away from the house which was too bad. Do yourself a favor and look for something in the country side (which is beautiful in this area) or Columbus. Won’t be back.

Summary: This is a perfect house for a medium to large size group. During the weekend we had anywhere from 6-8 people staying and it was very comfortable. Annie was very thorough and accommodating during the weekend and was available any time if needed. The house setup and the dock are very nice. Easily located by land or by water. The dock was great to be able to tie up the boat and not worry about the marina or boat ramp traffic.

Summary: This home was had a beautiful setting to enjoy the lake, it was so nice to fish with my grandson in the early mornings and watch the sunset from the dock. the home is well taken care of with many new upgrades. we had a great time!

Summary: Stayed for 3 nights with a group of friends in this lovely updated old home. The house is charming, very nicely decorated, new furniture, kitchen, baths, deck and dock. Loved having options to sit on the boat dock, deck or screened in back porch all over looking the lake. There is also a front porch to sit on. We rented the kayaks available and it was great to kayak each day. Also rented a pontoon boat for the day. First time to Buckeye Lake. I would recommend this house to anyone. Can't help but have a great time in this lovely home and setting.
