Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Oliver/Osoyoos and the Cottage Community. Helena's unit was fresh and inviting. It had views of the lake, marina and the beautiful fall hillside colors. The outside covered patio was a wonderful place for a BBQ and we enjoyed the comfortable living room. The bedrooms were large, with good quality linens. Of course The Cottages community is surrounded by numerous outstanding Oliver wineries. We will definitely stay here again, when we are in the area. R & V, Walla Walla

Summary: A nice cottage community with friendly people and a great beach and pool. Nice to be away from the busy town and beaches but still close enough to enjoy at times. This property was nice and clean. Renting the basement worked well for our family of 4 and didn't feel like a basement as it was a walkout with large windows and a large patio space. Pros -clean unit -Helen was easy to deal with -private beach is awesome and not busy even though we were there on July long weekend -pool and hot tubs gave the kids hours of entertainment -lake view from patio -felt really safe in this community with our kids and items -newer unit and appliances Cons -can hear when there are people above you. They were never up late disturbing us so this wasn't a problem. -had to use pullout couch for 2nd kid (not a big deal) -house had ok supplies but I can't give a 5 star when only 2 rolls of toilet paper and 2 small garbage bags are left for a family of 4 staying 8 nights -Osoyoos is about a 10-15 minute drive away -bit of a hike to get to the beach or pool -steps to get down to walkout are a bit awkward and would be a problem if you had any mobility issues Would way rather stay here than at a busy resort.

Summary: Booking with Helena was so easy! She is prompt with her emails and answers any questions you have. She clearly stated was required and although the documents seem lengthy, it just comes down to being a good neighbour. This rental was super clean when we arrived and had all of the basics that you would need. The Cottages is a wonderful community with a private beach and a centre with a pool, hot tub and gym. The only thing is that the rental is kind of a long walk from these amenities. With lots of stairs and mostly incline for your walk home, our friend staying with us twisted her ankle and we opted to drive to the pool, etc. And for a house with 6 adults they only provided 2 rolls of toilet paper. I would suggest stocking items like these according to the amount of people staying. This location was close to many wineries, fruit stands and both towns, Oliver and Osoyoos. We always had something to do! I would highly recommend this rental!

Summary: Very comfortable, cozy and spacious inside and out. Enjoyed the use of the BBQ, the patio and nice grassy area with mix of sun and shade. The common pool area was lovely as well. I will definitely return, hopefully sooner than later! It was unfortunate that the beach was closed due to the aftermath of the flood in the area, but other than that, everything was absolutely wonderful. Laurie

Summary: We recently stayed at the cottages (family of 4) and enjoyed it greatly. the views from the patio were fantastic and suite was very clean. We made sure to enjoy the pool and hot tub daily as well as the clean beach. Helena was very professional and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. the only minor issue we encountered was finding boat trailer parking after renting the boat slip. there is no onsite parking and the trailer lots in Osoyoos are NOT available for people staying in the Cottages.

Summary: Had the most relaxing time. The suite was lovely with a spectacular view of the lake and valley. Everything was new and very clean. We were just a short walk to the amenities and the beach. The hosts made us feel very welcome and provided info on the best local wineries. In fact, loved it so much, booked another weekend in July.

Summary: This cottage was beautiful and insanely clean. It was cute, quaint and had all the comforts and convienences of home. The location was perfectly situated on the border of Oliver and Osoyoos. There were so many wineries close by and the lake view was stunning!! I loved that we had our own large patio with a BBQ for outdoor dinners. The pool and hot tub were also very clean and the community was full of friendly people. This was probably one of the best "quick" getaways that we've had. I will be back but I'm planning at least a week next time! The only downside was the path to the front door. The home is brand new and the developer didn't finish the stairs so they created a dirt path until the developer completes the work. It wasn't perfect but it did the trick. The owner was so accommodating as she felt terrible that the developer hadn't completed as agreed to. Bottom line ..this cottage and the area were so awesome it made the dirt path an almost forgotten after thought.
