Walk in the clouds cabin sits atop a 1200 foot ridge over looking the Potomac river valley and Greenridge state forest. Every room of the cabin has an amazing view of the world beneath you. Enjoy the wilderness and seclusion of West Virginia with only a short drive from, D.C. and Baltimore. If your looking for romance the star gazing and sunsets are hard to beat here. The Trails on and around this property are filled with wildlife. Kayak fish or swim the Potomac...the adventures are endless. Just minutes from restaurant's spas and shops in Berkeley springs. We do recommend a 4x4 or AWD vehicle during winter months. We have a brand new amenity, a hot tub. There is an additional $25 per night fee to use the hot tub.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The view is awesome! The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The fireplace was really nice. We would definitely visit again.

Summary: Another visit to “A Walk in the Clouds,” and the weather could not have been better … or more different. Sunny, very warm days and comfortable nights. Our hosts we great, as ever. Good walks on the C&O, good birding, fun small, local places to eat. The cabin is right-sized and fully-equipped. We’ll be back.

Summary: Neat, clean and comfortable cabin. We really enjoyed the scenic view and the sunsets. Cable TV and Wi Fi worked well. Nice touch was the bottle of wine and chocolates!

Summary: The views from the deck are spectacular. The cabin is well kept and all amenities are accurate as described. We saw bald eagle, deer, hummingbirds, and Butterfly at the cabin. This place is a nature enthusiasts dream. We both loved it and will return again!

Summary: The view was spectacular for this cabin! It was absolutely gorgeous. But it was hard to enjoy the night we spent there from the overwhelming quantity of gnats. They got in everything we ate and drank. We kept all the doors and windows closed, only going out on the balcony twice, so we were not letting them in ourselves. There was also a really powerful and unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom that never dissipated. We wound up having to come home early due to a family matter but neither of us were disappointed about having to leave the cabin sooner than expected. I hate to say it, but we would not return.

Summary: What a “Walk among the clouds!” Perfect romantic getaway. From the cozy bed to the incredible views, this place is a catch! Clean and fresh, this cabin gives it all. From grilling outside to easy cooking on the gas stove, great tv’s, plenty of games. The starry nights are beautiful and daytime is filled with butterflies all around. You won’t be disappointed with this cabin.

Summary: The view, once we actually got to see it due to Canadian wildfire smoke, was gorgeous! We could see the Potomac River, Maryland, and WVa. Unfortunately it was the last evening, but no one can control the weather! Other than that, everything was great at the cabin. It was in a remote location but close enough to town to make a trip. Bed was comfortable, plenty of kitchen items, clean, good tv reception (we looked at the weather channel a lot), and relaxing. Best was having a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us! It was our 50th anniversary, so that was a nice touch!! We would return another time. (Note: it is a gravel road to the cabin if that bothers you…not us though😊).
