Positive: Rooms well prepared, all left nice and tidy for our arrival. Also, a nice little treat was left for each of us, a nice little gesture. The gentleman on their phone line was very helpful when we struggled to find our room in the apartment.
Negative: Staff forgot about the car park refund which meant to be left on our arrival as agreed (but in all fairness it was sorted out before our check out). I wanted to extend check out hours slightly far in advance but there was no such option, which is quite helpful if you are flying out late on the day. The message with direction to the room wasn't very clear. Facilities listed weren't all matching expectations (garden furniture listed led me to believe there is a garden, which would be helpful as we had a couple of smoking family members, which wasn't the case as we were on the first floor). There were 3 TV's in the rooms, 1st had to be unplugged to switch off, 2nd played sound but not the picture, 3rd one was working fine.

Positive: The cottage is in a quiet location but only a few minutes from the town centre and local transport. Good parking on drive with excellent lighting at night. The cottage has everything you need and it all works!! It is a warm and cosy place to go back to at the end of a long days walking.
Negative: Nothing it was all excellent.

Positive: Shona and Douglas are very thoughtful hosts - the welcome pack with local cheeses, milk, cake, etc. was very generous. The house is everything you'd want in a holiday home - great location ; lovely gardens to sit in and to admire; very clean; bright and spacious; very well equipped with everything you can think of. Parking was excellent. All in all, it is very cosy and highly recommended. We'd very happily stay here again.
