Summary: I like that it's not the middle of town. I didn't like the noise the neighbors made. I realize they are on vacation too but nobody should be that loud at 11p.m. at night! We also had a little trouble with the toilet but that was easily fixed with a plunger...all in all we had an enjoyable time staying at AMBER LANTERN...

Summary: The owners are nice people, friendly and responsive. They took care of us when we needed to extend our stay another day, and upgraded one of our rooms to a better free-standing chalet-type unit. The units were clean, and the aesthetic is traditional knotty pine, old-time Adirondaks camp. Showing the era they are dated to, the bathrooms are small. The units are in varying conditions of wear and tear, some quite "tired" and in need of updating in various ways, such as very noisy air conditioners. The beds were fair to good. It fills the bill for a traditional old motel and affordable, basic accommodations. If you must have modern features like wifi and three-prong electrical outlets, or a luxurious bathroom, these are not for you. Overall we were satisfied to have stayed for three nights. We recommend the free-standing, chalet type units as they are in more finished condition.

Summary: I travel with my husband and two sons.The location is close to the village of Lake Greorge ( by car), the staff are friendly and helpfull. We like this location becouse the cottage has everything that you need for a stay ( mini kitchen, bathroom with shower, beds, tv , air conditioner and some pots, pans, ect..). Also you can bring your own grill and kitchen items. The location is beautiful. We will back again.
