Welcome to Amber Leaf. This home is a 2300 square foot two-story classic style home that boasts a deluxe kitchen with stainless steel appliances, master with an en suite bathroom on the main level, 5 other spacious bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 3 large family rooms, and 3 full-service business space with wifi. The home also features barn doors throughout and a farm sink. Walk into the covered porch, deck for BBQing in the summer, a large back yard, fireplace, 2 car garage, and cable TV in every room.
The property is conveniently located in a friendly, quiet, and safe neighborhood. Depending on traffic, it's approximately 20 minutes from the airport and 25 minutes from the amenities of downtown Atlanta (The Fox Theater, Woodruff Arts Center, World of Coca Cola, GA Aquarium, Zoo Atlanta, etc.). Only 30 minutes to the Mercedes Benz Stadium or Six Flags Over Georgia. Less than a 7-minute drive to Interstates 75 and 675, a 10-minute drive to Southlake Mall and a host of restaurants, and a 15-minute drive to Atlanta Motor Speedway for the race fans.

This one-acre, semi-wooded lot is in a quiet subdivision of one of the safest parts of South Atlanta. Downtown Atlanta, all major attractions, shopping and entertainment in Buckhead are around 20 minutes away. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS of any type. Any attempts to have a party or event at this property will be shutdown, guests asked to leave, and no refund. This property is strictly for lodging only.

As a courtesy to our guests, we're happy to provide early check-in and late check-out. Guests may check-in as early as 1 pm or check-out as late as 1 pm for an additional $18 per hour. If you would like early check-in or late check-out, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make arrangements. The payment is due within 48 hours or immediately if booking the same day. Subject to availability. We welcome family pets for $25.00 per pet per day (up to 25 lbs). Maximum two pets per stay.

Summary: The pictures of this home are deceiving. There are at most 4 bedrooms, not 5 as listed. You have to walk through a bedroom to get to another bedroom which made it very difficult to have any privacy for those guests. There is an animal living in the attic which can be heard running across the ceiling at night. The kitchen is very poorly stocked and the kitchen sink does not drain well. Im assuming because there is no garbage disposal and people put food down it. It needs to be cleaned out. Not nearly enough towels for a “5 bedroom house”. The upstairs bathroom shower was extremely moldy. For the amount we paid these should not be issues. There were several other issues such as the cheap Keurig making watered down coffee, police loud speaker at 4am telling us to stay in our home, and my sister had a spider in her hair.

Summary: We had family in town to celebrate the holiday early. All of us hadn't been together in quite a while and we were looking forward to my mother being able to spend time with all of her children and grandchildren. The check-in process was seamless, the location was great, and the property was very clean. However, due to the inaccuracy of the listing we had to find alternative accommodations for some of the out of town family. Although we enjoyed the house and the location the lack of bedrooms put a damper on our time together. The listing says a master bedroom and an additional 5 spacious bedrooms but, in reality there were only 4 bedrooms. We reached out to the company several times after our stay as well as upon arrival. They said they would call the next day with a resolution but we still have not received a response.

Summary: The vacation rental property located in Jonesboro, GA was exactly as pictured in the advertisement photos on VRBO. The home was very spacious and well decorated. It had just enough sleeping space for our exact family size of 16. On the other hand, the master bedroom bed frame was broken, we notified the property personnel as soon as we noticed it. Needless to say, it was not a comfortable sleep when rolling to the center of the bed due to the broken frame. There were also quite a few roaches and ants inside the kitchen and bathrooms. When emailed about the insect issue, we were informed to use a can of Raid located in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. The water draining system was also a bit of an issue but we managed. The owner also made sure our holiday was special by putting up a Christmas tree,, which was great for our children. Although minor issues did arise, our family enjoyed the stay and we definitely had an amazing time. Looking forward to the next vacation 😎
