Welcome to Wanderer!
This beautiful craftsman home in Westerly, RI sits on a large lot at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. The home features five bedrooms and four and a half baths. Newly renovated and meticulously cared for, other home highlights include a chef's kitchen, pool, multiple outdoor seating areas with firepits and a screened in porch. The basement has been converted into a functional in-law apartment. Along with the pool, kids can enjoy the outdoor playset, artificial turf soccer area, and basketball hoop. There is plenty of parking on site.
This home is perfect for families or group gatherings. It is located only minutes away from some of Westerly's best beaches in the coastal communities of Watch Hill, Weekapaug and Misquamicut. Summer rentals come with a designated parking permit for Wuskenau Town Beach. Although, commonly sought after for its summer appeal, Westerly is just as lively and beautiful in the other seasons as well. Westerly is conveniently located off Interstate 95 and Route 1, allowing for easy exploration of neighboring seaside towns such as Mystic, CT and Matunuck, RI, and nearby casinos.
SUMMER 2024: Weekly bookings only, June 15th - August 31st. Saturday - Saturday. Exceptions made for monthly bookings.
POOL: Open May - September. Heated by solar panels so temperatures are dependent on sun exposure and air temps.
RENTAL AGREEMENT: Upon booking, a separate Host Rental Agreement will be provided via email. Execution of the agreement is required for stay and access.
Please note that we have three exterior security cameras on the property: one by the front door, one on front porch facing front yard/drive, and one on back porch facing backyard. These cameras are only armed when the house is vacant - we fully respect the privacy of our guests and the security system is NOT armed during guest stays.

Summary: My extended family recently stayed at Kelsey’s beautiful home to celebrate my Dad’s 80th birthday. The layout of the house with 5 separate bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in 3 different sleeping areas allowed for the ultimate privacy. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated with many comfortable places to relax. My favorite is the screened in porch overlooking the pool and golf course. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful and Kelsey was very responsive and easy to communicate with. My only wish was that the weather cooperated during our stay so that we could’ve enjoyed the gorgeous pool and outdoor spaces. We would definitely rent from Kelsey again!

Summary: Absolutely loved the salt water pool, soccer field, and "library" selection. Open layout of kitchen and adjoining rooms very bright and comfortable, even when it rained. Would have enjoyed a lg wall tv in living room. Bathrooms were good size, although bedrooms too sparsely furnished. Could use night stands, chairs, head boards, luxury linens, and tv's. Basement apt bedroom, and loft room over garage were stark and totally lacking in coziness. Overall experience was a thumbs up. Would have stayed longer if that was an option.

Summary: This is the third year in a row our friend group has spent the weekend at this house. While we know what to expect by now, I’m still always pleasantly surprised by just how special this home is! There are many different areas within the house itself, making it ideal for a multi-family/friend group with everyone having their own space. The amenities on the property make it so any time we go off-site, I’m always excited to get back to the house! Property manager is extremely helpful and responsive before, during, and after stay, as needed. We definitely hope to be back in the future!

Summary: The private location, beautiful grounds and large house were the perfect backdrop for our reunion of six women who have been friends for 52 years +. The house was well equipped in many ways. The kitchen had plenty of everything needed to cook and enjoy meals together. The property manager was stellar; available, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this lovely home for your next gathering.

Summary: The Wanderer was beyond our expectations. The communication with the property manager and check in was a breeze - we just walked right in! The space was incredible. This is the first rental I’ve stayed in where the pictures didn’t even do it justice. It was nicer than the photos. Me and my immediate family and their family stayed here for a few nights in September. We had 4 kids under 10 staying with us and there was plenty for them to do. We really enjoyed the large kitchen and grill. So much space and equipped with everything you need. There was plenty of space! There were 3 separate sleeping areas. The main part of the house with 3 beds, the loft with a king bed and a pull out sofa and the downstairs suite. Plenty of space to be together but have separation. We hope to be back!

Summary: The house and property were all that it promised to be and that the photos showed. We were hoping for a 10 out of 10 and are pleased to say it was an 11 out of 10! Kelsey the property manager was fantastic, very communicative and answered all our questions and helped with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this house.

Summary: This property was terrific for our family. It was beautiful and fun. The pool was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the beaches and neighboring towns. We are foodies and found local farmers markets and amazing seafood nearby. When anything went wrong the property manager was super responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

Summary: We recently returned from a glorious week staying at this home. We were two families with four adults and four 20 - something kids in total. We have been traveling together for many many years and this was by far one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. The property is impeccable, there was everything we could need on site. The pool and hot tub are gorgeous, the grounds are beautiful, the soccer pitch Was a ton of fun for day and late night games. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. My only comment would be that if you have younger children, the layout might be a bit tough since some of the sleeping areas are fairly separate from the main sleeping areas. However, With older kids, it was perfect! Backing up to a golf course it was pretty quiet. The area is fairly central and easily accessible to the beach, Watch Hill and not too far from other towns.The managing agent was awesome, very communicative, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
