Positive: A Paradise We’ll Always Remember We’ve just returned from Amilla Maldives after spending an unforgettable family holiday with our daughters (aged 10 and 14). It truly was a magical experience — one that will stay with us forever. The island is breathtaking, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and untouched nature. Our villa was cozy, elegant, and perfect for relaxing and enjoying quality time together. The culinary experience was outstanding. A special mention goes to the Japanese restaurant Feeling Koi, where every dinner was a delight — beautifully crafted dishes in a stunning setting by the sea. The excursions and activities were thoughtfully planned and had something for all ages. On some evenings, we had the pleasure of enjoying live music by The Sandstone, adding a lovely and relaxed touch to the atmosphere. But what truly sets Amilla apart is its people. Our heartfelt thanks to: • Gondo, for always being attentive and making sure everything was perfect for us. • Yasin, for his natural gift for connecting with guests and his warm, caring service. • Dewi, for starting each morning with her bright smile and uplifting spirit. • Yeli, for her kindness and thoughtful service in every detail. • Rahat, for looking after our villa with such dedication and care. • And Areesha, for her warm and helpful assistance from the very first moment at Malé airport. Positive: We stayed at Tree Top Villa for 10 nights and that was the best choice in terms of location and privacy. We love walking and riding bicycles, so the Villa located in the jungle was the perfect choice to make the vacation a bit more diverse if you are slightly tired from the beach and social life. Even when it was raining - the terrace with its very private pool (not very big but just ideal for one adult or a couple of kids), trees, bats and birds - that was really romantic. The villa itself was so beautiful (we liked the architecture and style, and the master bathroom was gorgeous). We stayed at Amilla in low season - end of April - beginning of May, and we enjoyed the feeling of privacy (though most of the villas were occupied - we saw other guests mostly in restaurants. The service was also above all expectations - our butler Gondo was in touch 24*7 via WhatsApp and all our requests were met immediately. All other employees were also very friendly and helpful (we are quite demanding clients - but here there were no complaints at all - very good!). The variety of menu types in all the restaurants is very impressive (kids menu, keto, paleo, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian, gluten free - and the personnel always keeps in mind your limitation). In all the restaurants they met our requests and cook in accordance with our wishes - that was more than convenient for us and three our kids with very different preferences. I also had very positive experience with the medicine department of the hotel - and they were very nice and helpful. In addition to describe the service - the meeting in the airport was perfect, the hotel has its very nice lounge where you could refresh and even check-in while having some healthy snacks and drinks with the great view. At the day of departure, the hotel's representatives accompanies us at the boat and in the hydro-plane, and at the check-in desk in the airport to the customs - that was very nice from them!
