This NSW Holiday Home is designed to Capture the views of the River and the natural Bushland.
Ammia Bend sleeps up to 12 people, perfect for 3 families or a couple!
The house has 6 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms with an ensuite and a further 3 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The main bedroom, living areas and another bedroom look out over the bend and down 2 attractive river vistas, the other bedrooms look out over the remaining 140 acres of natural and private land.
For those who like to get even closer to the river, the house sits high above the river level but also includes a low bank area which provides a great place to tie your boat up, water ski... or take yourself and a chair and sit on the bank amongst the abundence of birdlife and kangaroos in this very private part of the river. Public boat ramps are only 10 minutes by river and so is the Cape Horn Winery!
The open plan living design looks out over the Murray River and provides a cool aspect in summer and the wood heater (and ducted heating) ensures a warm cosy river view during winter.
Ammia Bend is a 10 minute or 11 Kilometres Drive from NSW Moama , the driveway is 1.7 kms long and usually you will be greeted by the local kangaroos, particularly early morning and at dusk.
Bedding Configuration:
Master Bedroom is with a King Size Bed , with the remaining 5 bedrooms with extra king size singles and are available to be arranged as king size bed.

Summary: A beautiful house in a glorious setting. The views of the Murray were amazing. Swimming was easy though a little muddy underfoot. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It’s a definite come back for us in the future. Well worth the visit.

Summary: This is a beautiful property, and the house has all you need. Very well appointed.It is however the very definition of secluded. It is very much off the beaten track, and therefore it's a long way back to town if you forget anything. There is no wi-fi and reception is limited to just a couple of spots around the house.The river setting is spectacular, and the outdoor seating area allows you to enjoy both the seclusion and the setting. The limiting factor is while there is an abundance of wildlife, the kangaroos leave such a mess the grounds are really not able to be used.With that in mind, I would definitely recommend this as a great place to get away and switch off. I think it would make the perfect winter get away for 3 or 4 couples. Food, wine and a fire place.Deb does a great job of managing the property and is on call for all your needs.Enjoy!!

Summary: It was great for a group of three couples and three singles to be able to escape from the city and spend a few days in this beautiful part of the world, miles from anybody, relaxing in the great outdoors whilst retaining the home comforts. We all had our own bedrooms, three of which had ensuites which was important to us.We found a sandy swimming spot about 8 minutes walk away which was well used. We had a lot of barbies and took a lot of photos. I'd forgotten how many stars there were in the country sky.There were so many kangaroos around it was like living in a wildlife sanctuary.We all loved it.Thanks Deb for being so helpful and accessible.

Summary: Great Location on the river so relaxing, we loved seeing the kangaroos drift in to feed during the evening , our favourites are the kooka's. The house having four bathrooms was fabulous with everything we needed.
