Positive: Old farmhouse renovated with respect to heritage. Location (if you have a car) is ideally strategic for staying in one place while exploring Sicily’s western coast. Our host, Anna, is remarkably kind and gracious and knowledgeable. Communal kitchen was well designed and well kept, enabling either privacy or community (also fantastic space for yoga!). The courtyard serves as a natural living room. Very tasteful and very relaxing space for the soul.

Summary: Authentic rural Sicily - highlight of our stay!

Positive: The whole atmosphere, the way these small farm facilities were restored, the fact that all the amenities worked. The place has a really friendly vibe.

Negative: I was a bit worried about the hornets nest from the back of the house, but nothing too major since wasps are everywhere in Sicily altogether.

Positive: Great atmosphere, fruit trees, beautiful green landscape, Anna was really polite and friendly. As a reminder, you are going to a village, don’t expect too much. Free parking lot. Typical Sicilian village house.

Negative: Shower was so small, i am 1.91 cm :)

Positive: Very rural, chose to stay to make it easy to visit numerous other locations and take in the Sicilian countryside.

Negative: If all rooms are full you will share your terrace with the other room (in very close proximity). The pool that other reviews mention is now no longer available to use which was a disappointment. Kitchen facilities were basic, no oven, blunt knives, old style coffee brewing pot. Take mosquito repellent. Anita the house manager very kindly provided anti-mosquito coils & we also purchased citronella candles to try & rid the place of them. Long trousers, tucked into socks & long sleeves are a must if you don’t want to avoid getting bitten.

Summary: Quiet county stay in rural Sicily.

Positive: Spacious rooms with a very photogenic environment and cleanliness throughout. The swimming pool, just a two-minute walk away on a private road, was a delightful addition. The setting was very quiet, providing a much-needed relief after the bustling crowds by the sea.

Negative: My stay in the Familiare room was challenging due to the lack of air conditioning, making it difficult to sleep comfortably in the August heat. Additionally, the room offered little privacy as it is in one building with kitched (next door), and owners room (next door). Suggesting to add Mini-bar in the room, for more convenience.
