Positive: Location and woodland environment. The wood burner was great in one of our cabins. The shower was hot and good pressure. Nice towels, comfy bed.
Negative: You moved our booking to a cabin with a broken wood burner in order to accommodate other guests. So half our group had no fire. You should have left our booking as it was. No clear instructions about the change or what cabin we should go to, so I walked in to what I expected would be our cabin to find other guests occupying it. Kitchen equipment was scanty. eg. No oven dishes, no oven gloves, only one tea towel.

Positive: Free logs for the burner, which heated up room really well, quiet, had all necessary facilities needed, wifi in Lodge 2 was excellent, the heaters in the bedrooms were great and heated up rooms fast, fluffy white towels, the lodges are not up against each other there is a good space between them,.
Negative: Uncomfortable settees , mould on bedroom curtains but we did inform the owners and they said they will change them, mattresses Uncomfortable, double bedroom taken up by the bed with just about enough room to get past it, thin curtains allowing early light to get through, rug in living area a trip hazard as it kept flipping up at the edges, shower was pitiful not very powerful at all, perfect for 2 people but anymore a bit of a squeeze

Positive: It was clean and comfortable beds .
Negative: Too far up a very steep hill. Didn't have anywhere to store provisions in a very small kitchen. Needed a couple of wall units .Fridge also could have been bigger.Also masses of bird poo on wooden box outside which should have been removed as its a health hazard.

Negative: I got a tick. Not the accommodations fault but something to watch out for. The beds could have been more comfortable but it was fine.
