Positive: We had a really great stay at the property. We slept very well, and it’s a perfect place to stay. The weather was lovely too, which made everything even better. There is a large, beautiful garden where we spent time relaxing and enjoying ourselves until midnight. The beds and the bathroom were very clean and well maintained. Overall, we had a wonderful and enjoyable experience, and we would definitely love to come back again.

Negative: Everything was really fine. I genuinely think this is one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed in. I just have a small suggestion — I understand the house is meant to keep its antique character and it is slightly aged, which gives it charm. However, a little modernisation would make it even better. Of course, I realise that might increase the price, but it would definitely be worth it for the house. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Positive: There was lots of space for what we needed, two of the beds were very comfortable. House was a good size. Check in was easy and the owners were attentive, checking our stay etc. the property was good for what we needed, which was a base for a stay.

Negative: There was only one door, no direct access out to the back garden which was slightly inconvenient with our 2 dogs, however this was only a small issue. One of the beds was rock hard, the other 2 were incredibly comfortable. There was also no tea towel in the kitchen but again, only a minor inconvenience.

It offers incredible value for money, especially if you’re planning a stay for a larger group—up to nine people. Even at £300 per day, it’s absolutely worth it. The property is spacious, with a massive front parking area and a beautiful, well-kept back garden. The rooms are thoughtfully arranged, the lounge is comfortable with a big TV, the toilet and bathroom are clean and modern, and the kitchen is large and fully equipped—everything you need for a comfortable stay. One of the best things is how quiet the place is. Since it’s a detached property, you don’t have to worry about disturbing neighbours, making it perfect for families or groups who want to relax and enjoy themselves. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay—peaceful, spacious, and excellent value. Highly recommended!
