Positive: Bed was amazing..place where we had breakfast was so delicious..the owners were informative..helpful..not only did they curry our luggage to our room .when we left he even carried them to our car …they were quick to respond to any question we had…actually i liked everything about it…id like to buy the bed

Positive: Fantastic hotel/BB in the very city center of Potenza. Outstandingly nice renovation with attention to all details. Maybe the best room we had during our 10 day trip to Italy.

Negative: The breakfast did not live up to the rest of the experience. A cup of coffee and a croissant was all that was offered. From the description we understood that there was parking included. We were quickly informed that these few spots were taken and we had to fight around the city to find a paid parking spot.

Summary: Very nice hotel in the heart of Potenza.

Positive: The location is absolutely perfect, room is clean, quiet, equipped with five star hotel amenities, slippers, heavy towels, etc. comfortable bed with large TV with YouTube and Netflix. Francesca helped us to book a taxi and bus ticket to go to the next town, and even brought breakfast to us as we were leaving before the cafe across opens. She was extremely kind! From the train/bus terminal, take a taxi for 10 euros. Otherwise you have to climb a lot of steps to get uphill! (Not worth it). The small gym is nice too.

Negative: The spiral staircase is a bit tricky for seniors.

Positive: The rooms are good-sized and very quiet. Furniture and facilities are brand new and very tastefully decorated. The rooms are in an old mill, converted, with a quaint iron spiral staircase (might present difficulties for senior citizens, especially when carrying luggage, since there is no lift). The lower hall has a coffee machine and electric kettle, with a few biscuits and sweets, but breakfast is available at a bar across the square (with free coupons). The mini-fridge in the room has a complimentary couple of bottles of mineral water. There is also a small gym. The bathroom is perfect. Francesca is always available to help promptly with a smile.

Negative: There was only one bedside table in our room.

Summary: A pleasant stay. Potenza centre is quiet, and clean. Trattoria prices are incredibly reasonable.
