Relax in a historic retreat filled with beautiful antebellum and Victorian antiques! Convenient location within blocks of Forsyth Park, Whitfield Square, fine dining, coffee/cafes, and Downtown's largest grocery store. Walk or drive to all of Downtown Savannah's tourist attractions nearby. Be the envy of all the tour trolley's that drive by the front door as you live like a local.
3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Bath, Max occupancy 6 adults.
Amenities: Located within the Landmark Historic Distric of downtown Savannah; 2 designated off-street parking spaces (free parking also on street); 4 short blocks to Forsyth Park and iconic Forsyth Park Fountain (nearly in view and literally straight out the front door); private courtyard, washer/dryer, free wifi and cable. We are hospitable host available and in close communication throught your stay with top-rated 5-star review history.
Bedroom #1: Queen bed, seating area, dresser, TV, closets, en-suite bathroom
Bedroom #2: King bed, dresser, tv, closet
Bedroom #3: Tiny "trunk' room with Twin bed, dresser.
Extra: 1 Twin Rollaway stored in zippered case in master BR closet (Note: The roll-away is portable and weighs approximately 25 lbs. There is space in the larger bedrooms and the LR and DR to set-up the rollaway, but the smaller 3rd bedroom (called the 'trunk' room) is too small to accommodate.
Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen; spacious double parlor with living room, flat screen TV and DVD player and formal dining room that seats an additional 6 with 1 half bathroom downstairs. Enjoy the comfort of 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms upstairs. Your party will have 2 reserved spaces behind the house for off-street, care-free parking! Additional vehicles can park free on the street.
Sleeping arrangements consist of 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor (a King bedroom, a Queen Master-Suite bedroom, and the tiny 3rd bedroom called the 'trunk room' with a Twin). There is a twin Rollaway-bed in the closet upstairs which can be placed in most any room in the home. (Please note the twin rollaway does not comfortably fit in the trunk room.)

We support Savannah's 'Good-Neighbor' Agreement: We love our guests and want them to have a fabulous time. It is important to note that in Downtown Savannah the homes are very close together and full time residents do live next to the vacation rental homes. In order to respect your neighbors we ask for 'quiet hours' after 9 pm. This simply means refrain from shouting, loud music, etc. Remember when you are on the porches and in the courtyard you can be heard very well by the surrounding residents. Summary: What a wonderful stay. I had mentioned that we were traveling for my wifes birthday. When we checked in, there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a gift bag and a Happy Birthday banner for her.Touches like this put the hosts over the top!The house is well over 100 years old and is wonderful. It's like stepping back in time... but with air-conditioning.. which is important during the summer in Savannah!10 out of 10 would stay here again if we are back in Savannah.

Summary: Carmen and Jon's home was the perfect retreat for graduation weekend. Ideally located within walking distance to parks and a grocery store, it made getting around a breeze. The two reserved parking spots in the lot behind the house were an unexpected gem. Inside, the space was spacious, comfortable, and immediately welcoming. Carmen provided clear, detailed instructions with helpful photos, making check-in a breeze. When the air conditioning stopped working on our first night, Jon came by first thing the next morning to repair it and even followed up later to ensure everything was cool and comfortable. We truly appreciated their attentiveness and hospitality. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Savannah!

Summary: The location was perfect. The communication with the host exceeds the number of stars I am allowed to give. On the day of arrival Carmen sent detailed info including pictures of exactly where to park and the entry gate so there was no question or confusion as to where to go. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and a personalized chalk sign welcoming us and included all the names of the 5 guests. They provided plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets and the house was spotless. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Summary: This beautiful historic townhouse was filled with amenities. I especially enjoyed all the books about Savannah and novels featuring it. The house is furnished with period pieces. It features two free parking spots in the rear of the house. I wish I was there in the summer to enjoy the beautiful outdoor seating area filled with many plants. I had a wonderful time on my first visit to Savannah. I thoroughly recommend this place! The communication with owners was clear and concise, especially when directing me to the house. It was much appreciated. I was greeted by a basket of chocolates and some water bottles, and a welcome sign, listing mine and my friend‘s name. How thoughtful!

Summary: Our stay at this beautiful VRBO in Savannah was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The home itself was stunning—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into every detail. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of everything, yet peaceful and relaxing.What made this trip truly unforgettable was the way the hosts went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday extra special. They decorated the space just for her and even left a thoughtful gift, which brought tears to our eyes.
