Summary: We'd stay here again. The host was a really nice guy. Highly recommended in Mount Cook Village.

Summary: Our room was on the end of our building and we had a wake up view of the top of the mountains. We walked to the short Governor’s Trail the afternoon we arrived. It’s pretty steep, but easy overall and perfect to get moving after a 4hr drive over. It’s a good climb Very easy access to the Hooker Lake Trail and well worth the price for a one night stay. They assign a parking spot for your unit and someone took ours when we were away at dinner so we parked in the laundry spot and our neighbor experienced the same issue. Simple rules folks.

Summary: It is VERY expensive for what it is—essentially a nice roadside motel. There are very few dining options so it has a kitchen but no plates or bowls. The bed was very soft for any back health and the TV didn’t work. To be fair, it is in the mountains but to rely only on satellites means it doesn’t work much of the time.
