Positive: The location is excellent. Best snorkelling we found on KT right on our doorstep. Reef sharks and so many species of fish. Staff are very kind. A lovely dog and a very friendly cat. You will need a scooter and the road is very hilly but manageable with care. Food was very very good. I’d highly recommend the Tom Yam. Very safe, we slept with our bay door open to catch the sea breeze. Early morning is best from snorkelling, 6-8am.
Negative: Not much we didn’t like about Aow Leuk. Gets a bit busy during the day with snorkelling groups but not a drama. Rooms are basic but the location makes up for this and to be honest it adds to the attraction. The view from the room are amazing.

Positive: Its our second visit to Aow Leuk Grand Hill so clearly we love it. But we definitely go because of the location not the hotel. The beach is so beautiful and its such a treat to have it to ourselves in the mornings and evenings. The sunbeds are so nice. The rooms are kept clean daily with fresh towels which is nice.
Negative: The room is basic but everything you need. The mattress was incredibly hard, we asked them to do something about it and they bought a foam.topper which helped slightly.

Positive: We loved the view at this accommodation! Absolutely stunning ocean view on our balcony overlooking the beach and bay. You could see how clear the water was from above and it was so peaceful at night. The hosts were so kind to erect a hammock as my partner really wanted to book a room with one but when we arrived we discovered they had since been removed. The daily room clean was efficient and the staff were friendly. We were fortunate enough to be one of the only ones staying there at the time so surrounding bungalows were empty and the place felt incredibly private. You can hire snorkels which was perfect and there are beach chairs in front of the restaurant that were great too. Overall we would highly recommend this place!
Negative: It would be great if the restaurant stayed open for dinner, otherwise you have to venture out for meals. Location wise, you are quite far from the town. If you can organise yourself a motorbike then youll be fine but you can't dine at the same place as your bungalow. Not a fault of the accommodation in any way but something to be mindful of if you are expecting serenity. The tour operations pull their boats into the bay around 14:00 and often leave them running for their guests. This was quite loud and make afternoon napping not possible. They don't stay long however and by 17:00 it is peaceful again.
