Positive: You must pick up the keys at another location. Our keys had a tag on them that said "10". There is no room 10. This condo is actually in an older but overall well maintained highrise. It is not Daytona Beach Soaring. The building is called Sands. Once in the condo, the view is beautiful over the water, it's spacious, everything is there.

Negative: We had no idea the room number - there were no instructions. We were quite confused. Also, there is no instructions for the underground parking, so we parked in front of the building outside. Had to reset the tv's which was a bit confusing - after a lightening storm (which was beautiful over the water), but we figured it out. Great walking beach. Not too many restaurants nearby, but two highrises down - the circular one - had a great restaurant with live entertainment on the top floor. Forget the restaurant name but the best we meal we had in Daytona. The town is a bit rough, more bikers that we're accustomed to, and downtown many tatoo shops. Overall we had a great stay, for a quiet beach vacation. Read 2 big books.

Positive: Everything was perfect. The apartament is well equipped with everything you ca think you need (microwave, oven, ice machine). It os located faaaaar away from other people - like a kilometer or so from another houses.

Positive: The room was clean and nicely remodeled and the view was of course, to die for! They thought of everything as far as needs go, even have tupperware available to use.

Negative: I would highly recommend to the owners to use another management office, Vacasa did not send me all the proper instructions for our arrival to pick up the keys, so I had to contact them for instructions for 3 different lockboxes. There was no information about the building being locked with keys, then the room having a separate keycode for the room and access to the pool. So all in all, there were 6 keycode boxes and a set of keys to lug around to even access the building. The manager to the building is not there during check-in hours, so you can not ask questions for the building garage and or/even get a parking pass when you check-in. Upon check-out, I was not sure if I should leave the keys in the room, so I called Vacasa again and they said just leave them in the room - off we went. About 2 hours into our travels home Vacasa notified me that the cleaners couldn't get into the room. I did end up calling the building manager (make sure to grab a card so you have her number) to ensure that she knew the room didn't even have a key and because we checked out the room code could have changed but ended up giving it to her and told her to contact Vacasa to deal with it. I would not fault the owners of this great room but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
