Positive: We had an apartment on the top floor looking at the sea with a balcony. Everything was working and clean, modern even. The kitchen provided enough space to prepare some basic evening meals. The rooms were well-sized for a hotel and there was just enough storage space for an apartment where a family of 4 could stay for a week. Rooms were separated by a door, each having its own air conditioning and lights. The bathroom and shower were well-sized for 2 adults and 2 children as well. There were touch-sensitive switches everywhere - they glow even at night, so their buttons can be found, but most of us were not bothered by the glow while sleeping. Breakfast was very good with a reasonable amount of choices (fresh fruits and vegetables, yogurts, both hard and soft cheeses, sausages, scrambled eggs, spreads, and various pastries). The aparthotel doesn't have a big enough kitchen to serve anything but breakfast (but there are plenty of options along the beach even in the evening hours). There is an option to park in a garage (there are about 5 or 7 places). Other than that, there is parking available outside of the property across the main road. Driving into the garage might be a bit scary as the path is pretty steep and curvy, however, even some mid-sized SUVs from luxurious brands could have been seen there. As a bonus that made most of our days in the aparthotel was an always-smiling receptionist whom our kids loved so much they wanted to "take her home".
Negative: The machine providing coffee during breakfast was very unsatisfying. Thankfully, the staff were able to make a much better espresso when asked. The pastry, cheese, and jam selection was not that great and mediocre in quality at best. For example, there were no soft-ripened cheeses. On some days, there was a television playing some ads during breakfast - that seemed completely unnecessary, distracting even. While it is not apparently customary in Croatia to forbid smoking, the hotel could regulate smoking at least during breakfast time - it is not possible for non-smokers and children to escape cigarette stinch when anybody lights one at any outdoor table (the smoke gets inside anyway). The main place to dry wet swimsuits and towels was actually the balcony - that only worked when there was no rain coming though. We tried to dry our things inside once, however, they did not dry - due to air conditioning not filtering out water from the air, I guess. There were some smaller nuisances like TVs on room turning always on when card was inserted to the holder or a few ants walking around apartment.
