Summary: My husband and I stayed in Severine's for a few weeks for a mixture of work and leisure. We enjoyed the apartment and found it comfortable. The layout, as others have mentioned is slightly odd with the only toilet being downstairs from the bedrooms. This wouldn't be an issue for a short visit, but we did find it irritating for a longer stay. In addition there is no freezer, which again was not ideal for a longer stay. If the apartment was ours, we would consider swapping the rooms around - making the larger bedroom the master and the smaller one the twin. The master had nowhere to hang clothes, which again wasn't ideal. All of these things aside, we enjoyed the location with a beautiful beach right on the doorstep. The Carrefour Local at the end of the road was super-useful and it was also very close to the town of Calais as well as the Channel Tunnel, which we used regularly. Severine was an excellent host and communicated very well before and after our stay.

Summary: Property was clean throughout, with mostly new furnishings. Balcony with great views of the ferries coming in and out. Equipment all in working order. Only issue was the number of steps up to the apartment and then up to the bedroom and bathroom. My wife has mobility problems and found it a real struggle to use the stairs a number of times a day, or indeed, at night, with the loo being downstairs from the bathroom. A mention of this may be useful, but overall, an excellent apartment with a friendly, helpful owner, who was unobtrusive, but available if required.

Summary: We came from germany to calais to do short hiking-tours and a daytrip to Dover. Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. The contact between us was very frindly. We got two keys of the modern apartment with RFID-Keys. It was realy clean and well structured and the kitchen with dishwasher and new stove was perfect for three person. The city of Calais ist not so nice but that was not important for us. Only the P&O Ferries was super to do our daytrip to Dover. We consider to do a second trip to this place because of the nice apartment and further places where we can hike. We can highly recommand this apartment and leave friendly greetings to Séverine and Fred :)

Summary: The apartment was very clean. In every room is used a very high eye of detail, this improved the ambiance of it. The location is good and nearby the sea, you have a look on it. The owner of the apart was very clear and friendly in the communication. Some things to do nearby: - you can visit Calais or some other little villages nearby - the sea was pretty, also a walk on it near chalk cliffs - there are multiple musea of the second war - you can do multiple water sports nearby I can recommended this apartment, it was a good stay and a nice holiday!
