Positive: The place is very quiet and has a spectacular view. Spacious cabin with most of ye needed equipment for cooking and dining including BBW and an indoor Fireplace. 15 minutes from Stryn, the main town ofbthe erea. And 15 minutes drive from other popular trekking sites. Owners are very cooperative and nice.
Negative: The place offers paid cleaning or self cleaning option. We got the house not very clean. Maybe due to other people who used it previously. The pre check in contact with the owners wasnt vey good Via BOOKING - and the Dan center agengy is not supplying the needs. However, when we addressed the owner via WhatsApp? Communication was good.

Negative: Rental of towels and bedsheets were optional, I mean, this is so weird. Guest travelling for holidays are expected to rent? Or bring own sheets?It was not shown before hand,so it was a big surprise. Only one toilet is working, I guess it has been that way and in the future

Positive: Beautiful location. We loved going out on the lake with the boat. Stunning views. Beds were comfy and the house is lovely. Very comfortable stay.
Negative: Be aware that linen and cleaning are not included in the cost shown on booking.com and they were very difficult to organise through the intermediary, Dan Center. Would much rather work directly with the home owner, who was always quick to respond, friendly and helpful.

Positive: Beautiful chalet, with great views. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Well equipped kitchen. Parking space in front of the door. Very friendly and flexible owner (we arrived much later than expected, he left the keys on the door for us but still had to come later to bring bedsheets and towels)
Negative: Bathroom on first floor very small, and the shower was out of order so could not be used. The one in the basement was fine though. You have to bring your own bedlinen and towels, otherwise you are obliged to rent them from the owner (170NOK per person). This is not indicated in the description on the Booking page, so comes as a slightly unpleasant surprise. Paying for sheets and towels does not feel in line with the otherwise excellent experience that the chalet offers. They should simply include this service in the rental and increment the price accordingly, as does everyone else.
Summary: Great apartment (consisting of two top floors of a chalet) right on the lake

Negative: Kitchen has Smell. Mattress was not good. Lots of Spiders… only one bathroom was in working condition and it’s on ground floor. But the owner of the house is a hard working guy.

Negative: No wifi.
Summary: Definately would stay here again next time in the area (stryn/loen/olden).
