Summary: Host gave us a tour of his lake property in his side by side, we watched several deer eat from his apple trees and thoroughly enjoyed the homey atmosphere of the "barn", as he calls it. We would definitely stay here in the future.

Summary: Tim's place is a very spacious one bedroom cottage. My husband and I stayed there as it was close to the International Speedway and close to the water. The cottage had everything we needed - comfortable bed, full kitchen and a garage for our sports car. Tim was very responsive with questions and requests. We would recommend it!

Summary: We had a fabulous stay at "the barn" A great log cabin feel to a well designed apartment built on top floor of a barn. Beautiful animal mounts and wood ceilings and walls throughout. Plenty of room and every utility you could want. A short walk takes you to the boat dock. The lakes are beautiful and very scenic. The host were warm , friendly and very responsive to any needs we had. We will be back !

Summary: My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at the "barn" cabin. The living/kitchen area was extra roomy and exceptionally clean as was the entire space. Shiny knotty pine and oak made it seem brilliant and warm. So quite and relaxing. We have to rate it 5 stars. Nice large refrigerator, stove and an island make the kitchen appealing. Beautiful tiled shower in the bathroom. The woodsman decor is very tasteful, interesting, and well displayed (especially our new friend Smoky the Bear!). While the lake access is 200 yards or so from the cabin, it is still very convenient. However, it is best to have a boat to fish. I fished from the dock and while I had a good battle with a small fish, there were too many weeds and lily pads that will hang you up (and help you lose a fish, hook and line). But most of all, Tim, the owner, is a fantastic host. He, his wife and son Luke did so much to accommodate us; such nice and friendly people. We definitely want to return in the near future. Just about everything was perfect! O, I almost forgot about all the deer we saw around the place, even a couple near our front door. Amazing~

Summary: Timothy and his wife have a beautiful property in southern Michigan that’s in close proximity to Michigan International Speedway. The apartment sits above his garage a short walk away from his house and contains a very spacious living area complete with a nice kitchen, ample places to sit and sleep for a group size of 4-6, and has a log cabin feel featuring various mounted animals. The bathroom was phenomenal, great shower to use. It was very cozy and a great place for my group and myself to recharge the morning after the Faster Horses Festival. Timothy also made a point to introduce himself but still gave us full privacy despite lodging on his property with him a small distance away which we very much appreciated. The outside of the property is incredibly homely as well and sits on a winding road in rural Michigan. 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area with family or friends or even a quiet stay by themselves.
