Positive: The accommodation was very spacious and all the basic stuff was there. Road to the house was very steep and narrow, but parking space was nice. All the rooms were nice and also the livingroom. The swimming pool was very nice and quite big also.

Positive: Spectacular view, and comfortable apartment.

Negative: The apartment had a lot of cob webs on the walls. The road to the apartments (up hill) is an adventure, but it goes hand in hand with the view. The kitchen was not very well equipped, no coffee maker. It is important to note that there is almost no amenities, no soap, one roll of toilet paper in each toilet, no dishwashing liquid, no broom, or mop. no floor mat in the bathroom, and the shower did not drain well, so we had to improvise. Maybe it was because it was at the beginning of the season, and things were not set up yet.

Positive: It was the second time we stayed here since we liked it so much the first time : nice, quite location, beautifull swimming pool, I also liked how it was decorated modern with old elements.

Negative: The balcony wasn´t closed so we needed to pay attention the dog wouldn´t go out by himself.

Positive: We really much liked the place: The small town of Risan was quiet, beautiful and very calm. Apartment Castello Risano was perfect for our 10 day stay, with a lot of space and superb view each day. The pool was always clean and the most favorite place for kids. Anna is a wonderful host - always responding, helping and was making our stay the most pleasant. Also, the stuff was very kind and kind. We definitely would recommend this place for a wonderful stay!

Positive: Quite frankly one of the most comfortable places I have stayed in years. In the words of my teenage son it was very homely :). Lots of thoughtful touches and everything you would need. Our apartment was huge which meant there was enough space for everyone to be together but have some space. The pool was stunning and the views were incredible. Highly recommend.

Negative: We hired a car and we really relied on it as the location is in a quiet town and up a fairly steep hill. I would have actually enjoyed walking up and down to the apartment more if it wasn't so hot! Risan is a great place with friendly restaurants though and much cheaper than the busier tourist places for simple family meals and drinks.

Summary: Fantastic luxury apartment from which to explore the Bay.

We loved having breakfast and coffee on the balcony with the view and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening there too. It’s also a perfect spot to explore the area from. The apartment is specious and comfortable.
