Positive: The hotel room was comfortable enough with views of the river. The breakfast was good - the coffee, pastries, and bread were delicious. (Some issues with one coffee machine). Reception responded quickly when I mentioned that my kettle didn't work and the shower gel dispenser in my bathroom was empty. The tram and bus links are good.
Negative: The wifi was terrible - unusable. The ceramic hob did not work. I didn't mention as I did not need to cook on it and I had already reported that my kettle didn't work and didnt want to report something else. The staff should check the appliances between guests. The area does not have anything to do in the evenings. It's easy to get over the river and back by tram. But I should have done better research and chosen somewhere more central.
Summary: Reasonably priced hotel out of central Nantes. Some shortcomings.

Positive: We really enjoyed the view from the seventh floor, the river Loire as well as the historical centre.
Negative: The receptionist was absent during check in time which triggered a queue. One of the days, the hotel ran out of food during the breakfast. Not even bread left. The milk in the coffee machine has run bad.
Summary: An OK stay for 1 or 2 nights. Good luck with the breakfast.

Positive: The room was clean, spacious enough, well-equipped, had a good view, and was very quiet and the shower room and kitchenette had everything one would need for a short stay. The reception was helpful and polite. The breakfast was very good. The location was quiet but felt safe and the centre of town was about ten minutes away by foot.
