Positive: I liked that the room was compact, but very well equipped (there was even a mini-dishwasher) and the hotel has a pool - we booked an hour slot free of charge.

Negative: WiFi was really, really, really slow at night!!! Poor selection of kitchen utensils! The cabinet door covering the refrigerator was broken since my first visit a month ago! The table for diner is really small!

Positive: Location is amazing - in the walk distance from main rail station and the same distance from the old city. The supermarket also in a few minutes from the hotel.
Negative: Breakfast is very meager: one type of sausage and bacon and also limited choose of cheese. The omelet has no taste. However, the pastry is very tasty. The chairs in the room are very old with worn upholstery (see the photo).

Negative: the hotel is centrally located. rooms are clean. I thought the breakfast was poor for a 4 star hotel. had breakfast at 8:00 am. There were no more eggs. Bread was dry. As a topping there was brie or ham that already smelled strange.

Positive: Staff were super friendly and helpful. Kitchenette was well equipped. Great location, the city is easily accessible on foot, but difficult to find in a car (Google maps was confused) so better directions beforehand would have been good. Great they have parking available in the basement but comically complicated to access.
Negative: The air conditioning was welcome but some instructions on how to turn it down would have been good

Positive: Ahead of time, I found the communication with the staff very positive, so that I new secure parking was booked ahead of time. I liked the friendliness and efficiency of the reception staff, both on check-in and departure. The availability of underground secure parking was a very big plus for me and the access procedures were clearly outlined on a useful leaflet. Location was perfect for the railway station and tram, with supermarkets in easy reach. Cute little kitchen in the room served us well.
Negative: Nothing the hotel could do about this but my satnav couldn't cope with the one-way system to get to the front of the hotel (to collect the parking key fob). I recommend parking in the shopping centre car park opposite. Perhaps a quide on how to beat the 1-way system?

Positive: We only stayed there for one night at the end of our trip in Alsace. Room was clean and reasonably comfortable for that purpose. Bathroom was nice. Staff also OK.
Negative: When you check-in you must left a deposit of EUR 150 that is returned to you at the end of your stay. As a guarantee. This was mentioned on Booking page so it was not a surprise. And I am not complaining. It's just unusual.
