Positive: Unbeatable view. A ton of walking trails in the vicinity. Walk in the forest, to the church, to the picnic area, or up to the waterfall - you have it all! Historic buildings with very quaint local style. Several excellent dining options in town, all walking distance, fit for different tastes and budgets. A grocery store next door with good local produce. We planned several drives, and ended up staying in the area, too much to see locally! Checking in, parking, staying and checking out were all flawless.

Negative: Nit-picking, not a an issue, and is expected. This is not a "touristy" location. Some of the people in town, not specific to the apartments, do not speak fluent English. This is something you should expect, as they speak 3+ other languages. Everyone was super-friendly, and did go out of the way to make sure we get what we want.

Summary: Fantastic view, great food, trails to dream about, and amazing people.

Positive: It was a comfortable and spacious apartment with a breathtaking view. The hosts and all the staff were very lovely and accommodating. The apartment had two large bedrooms and a good-sized bathroom. We especially loved the terrace, where we could sit outside and read.

Negative: The town was not really much of a town. There was a restaurant with the apartment that was open for lunch, and a small convenience store that was open during the day. At night, for dinner, there was only one restaurant in town. It was a relatively long and very windy drive to reach anything else. While it was beautiful, it felt pretty remote. There was also poor wifi in our apartment, but the owners offered to let us sit upstairs in the restaurant when we needed a signal.

Positive: Small family owned place in a quiet countryside neighborhood. Spacious apartment with beautiful views on the mountains. Looks much nicer on the pictures though.

Negative: Unpleasant smell. All doors were loud to open/close. Constant beeping from the detector in the kitchen. No dinner option at the restaurant. No eggs at breakfast.

Summary: Good value, especially for families with kids. It is close to great skiinng spots. Friendly staff.
