Positive: The property is in a good location and it is bigger than the average hotel room. The host is responsive, but not proactive.
Negative: If you are used to staying at an apartment from Airbnb, VRBO or even Booking, then this place will seriously disappoint you. The host doesn’t meet you to explain important details (like heat). As an example, when you get there, there are no napkins, no paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper, small glasses etc. You’re talking about a few euros here. In the bathroom, the 2 towels for your entire stay are simply ridiculous. The hose said they were average size towels, but they are not (more like a large hand towel). There is a wood pellet stove in the living room, which is nearly impossible to figure out (how to use) and it ran out of pellets while we were there. That caused it to beep all night until we finally got out of bed at 3 AM to shut it off (video enclosed). The fact that the place lacked pretty much anything, including television and the street is closed to traffic for most of the day just doesn’t make it worth it. We would never stay here again. ON A POSITIVE NOTE: The host did her best to address these problems and did fix them. And, the location is phenomenal so check with the host before you book to see if she’s addressed these issues. We wish her well, but we’ve always treated people the way we wanted to be treated and this was far from that experience.
