Positive: Thanks Pierre for being very kind and helpful! He instantly replied each time I texted him. The location was 10/10. It’s a very lovely neighborhood with cute cafes and boulangeries <3 about the apartment; It is small but more than enough for two people and small apartments are very typical for Paris. The apartment was very clean and smelled soap when we first opened the door<3 it was really cold in Paris when we stayed and the apartment’s heating was amazing, we felt warm the second we walked in. It has a washing machine, coffee machine and utensils. And the design of the apartment is quite unique❤️ We really enjoyed our stay and definitely coming back!

Positive: It was a great location. We could walk to everything we wanted. Lots of eating and shopping options nearby. Nice interior, clean, small but containing everything you need and near the attractions but not in the midst of them. Perfect. Pierre a very good host.
Negative: The stairs up to the bed were not for the faint hearted. The shower needs a small modification to keep the water in the shower tray.

Positive: The location is great. The price point. The owner seemed to be very responsive and enthusiastic.
Negative: The sink in the bathroom is super small, with sharp metal corners that scratched through my back when I was putting clothes in the washing machine. The shower is very small and the water flows out.

Positive: The location of the apartment was incredible - a perfect not-so-touristy base for exploring Paris. The streets around us have some of the best bakeries and patisseries in Paris. The host was very responsive and easy to get in touch if we had an issue in the apartment.
Negative: The apartment would be fantastic if there were a bit more work put into the amenities and furnishings, although the bed was quite nice. The other residents in the building were very loud at night.

Positive: The location of this apartment was fabulous - easy to walk anywhere and good amenities around. It is well priced for Paris but with payoffs as below. We were grateful for being allowed to go in early.
Negative: We were expecting this apartment to be tiny and it matched our expectations in that sense. The rating on booking.com was superb and it is not. It's ok. There were lots of quirks about the apartment for example the cord for the blinds were fixed on the wall outside the window and we couldn't get the downstairs blind to work. The sofa was uncomfortable and the TV was ancient. There was water left in the kettle, the bottom of the fridge and coffee machine, and towels left in the drier when we arrived. The apartment doesn't have much natural light and so was gloomy which wasn't helped by the fact it it didn't feel massively clean - it was all a bit worn out. Chips in paint, wallpaper peeling off, bubbling paint and empty picture hook on wall and lots of nick nacks/magazines around the place. The shower cubicle is tiny and the shower gets water over the floor. The bed was a strange arrangement where there was what looked like a mattress then wood then another mattress but actually was quite comfy. The kitchen could have been better stocked (only 2 massive glasses and mugs) with wine glasses or a bread knife which we would have used. The host will be upset with this rating as he text regularly throughout our stay to see if were ok. He asked us to give him a five star review and we were worried there might have been a backlash if we had said anything. He lives in the apartment building and we didn't want any awkwardness. To be fair it is Paris and we expected it to be tiny but the air of shabbiness and grubbiness was a disappointment. It is not superb.
