Positive: Great ski accommodation!. Close to ski lift, restaurant and swimming pool/sauna/steam excellent. Spacious apartment with balcony with numerous heaters to dry out wet ski clothes! Etienne our host was pro active and easily contactable, private car space in the block as well.....top marks!

Positive: The property was spacious and perfect for our stay. The onsite shop was useful and the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating, the times said order by 1pm for takeaway but they always managed to cater for us even when we forget and ordered late. Highly recommend the Chorizo pizza and tartiflette! 😋 The high speed gondola to the top, a few minutes drive away worked a treat with lots of free parking at the bottom, I’m sure the walk was doable but we didn’t fancy it! We had a hire car so could come and go at our convenience, there was also a ski bus but be prepared to wait as it was very popular! The ski locker rooms at the gondola station were amazing and ski shop staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a fantastic few days with some great snow!

Positive: Great apartment, quite spacious for a family of 5. Big fridge/freezer, hob, microwave and a much appreciated electric kettle! Big kitchen table that doesn’t need moving to get the sofa bed out (a huge bonus of this apartment). I’m not sure that it would work for 6 people as the sofa bed for the 6th person would be right across the door to one of the bedrooms.
Negative: As with other apartments in this block the shower is just an attachment over the bath with very little to stop water from going everywhere. It just means that you’re best sitting down to shower.
Summary: Excellent apartment, would highly recommended.

Positive: Katia the host was lovely :) Spa was really good and was much needed at the end of a day skiing On site restaurant was really good. On site shop was convenient but on the expensive side. Skiing was really good when you get on the slopes and is a much cheaper alternative then staying in the traditional resorts. Room was big and well equipped.
Negative: Need to allow at least 45 mins from leaving the apartment to the top of the ski lifts. Also the last lift up from Val Thorens is 16:00 if you miss it, its a €400 taxi or a night in Val Thorens my self and numerous other fell foul of this as the first lift we went to was closed due to technical problems and by the time we reached the other two they were closed. You have to make your bed when you get there and there was some dodgy looking stains on the mattress and pillows The apartment had a slightly damp smell to it. You also have to clean at the end of your stay so that's probably why it's not the cleanest. there is very little in the way of bars/ restaurants around other then the one on site, I think there is only 1 other bar in the village. Fortunately the restaurant was really good.
