Positive: Nice and peaceful, lovely location. Comfortable bed.

Negative: We didn’t use the hot tub as it wasn’t very clean. It was full of dirt/grit in sitting area. The pool was out of action due to a water board issue that pumped mud into the pool. The kitchen was very small, only room for one person. Unusual to find no shampoo and body wash in the bathroom and just 1 toilet roll.

Summary: We had a nice few days stay, the countryside was fabulous.

Positive: Beautifully situated in rolling countryside. Excellent facilities and outlook from the apartment. The pool was especially enjoyable. Good places to visit nearby.

Positive: Nicely kitted out with most things you would need for a stay. View was beautiful with guaranteed deer sightings in the field every day. Lodge was warm, clean, comfortable and roomy. I stayed for work but this would be a lovely place to bring children and stay in one of the larger lodges. Lots of facilities to entertain young and old kids. Looked like there were some nice woodland walks close by too.

Negative: Wifi was a bit hit and miss. Fine if you’re holidaying and getting away from it all though. Pack oil, salt and pepper etc if you’re planning to cook as it wasn’t included. Tea, coffee and milk were supplied though which was nice.

Summary: Excellent hidden gem close to Bath. Keep it on the DL though so it’s not fully booked next time I want to stay!
