Summary: Overall, this is a real 5* hotel with good location and a luxury vibe….. But…. God exists in the little things which make the difference and for sure, he was not there. Breakfast is very good, but served only from 07:30 AM. Normally, there are trips and activities in the area that starts earlier, so you must skip breakfast if you book one. They tried to charge us 3 days of parking (35 euros per day), although we used the parking only for 40 hours. If we hadn’t insisted, we had paid another day without justification. When we came back from our outdoor activity, we asked to use the shower. We felt like someone was doing for us a favor. The guest is the most important resource of the hotel and we haven’t felt like this.

Summary: An absolutely amazing find. Everyone of the staff were cheerful and friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Food was delicious. Rooms were well cared for, modern and clean. The main square was minutes away. Highly recommended.

Summary: We were celebrating a special anniversary whilst staying at the Ara Maris, in which we were well looked after. The staff were extremely friendly and the pool facilities were brilliant and relaxing, helping us to escape the business of Sorrento town centre.

Summary: Absolutely incredible! The hotel is gorgeous & extremely clean. The location is a 2 minute walk to the square w/lots of shopping & food. It’s also w/in a 10 min walk to the ferry’s. The hotel pool is gorgeous. The staff is friendly and attentive. The roof top lounge has the most breath-taking views. We would 10/10 stay here again!

Summary: The Ara Maris which is referred to as the new hotel was one of my best stays at any hotel in all my travels, which is considerable. The service from all the staff whether it be registration, concierge, dining, pool, cleaning or spa wax consistently top notch. It is a physically pleasing site and is close to all the shops and restaurants in the main area of Sorrento. We were there for 8 days and could have stayed longer. I just want to express my thanks to the staff for making our stay as wonderful as we had hoped.
