Positive: The Arabel Design Apartment was very nice, and comfortable enough for our large family group. The location was close to Potsdamer Platz and provided central city access to Berlin destinations.

Negative: However, the staff didn’t provide enough sleeping space accommodations and beds had to be shared. Worse yet, they gave robotic AI responses to important questions about the airport shuttle service. It took several repeated message requests to get a response over a week’s time and by then, it was too late to use the service. Finally, at check in, they gave us the code for the wrong apartment and it took an expensive phone call to sort the problem out.

Summary: Arabel was a nice facility in a good location but the staff service was unacceptable.

Positive: A good location to reach city center or Berlin Zoo even on foot, but the metro starion is very close too.

Negative: The apartment looks nice in pictures, but in the reality it looks like a nice apartment with the repairs made in the cheapest way.

Negative: There were no curtains in one room, which made it difficult to sleep well.

Positive: Spacious and modern. Clean.

Negative: Needs a fan as with the window open, the late night arrivals and drunk clubbers staying in other apartments work us up at 3am. Needs a light in the wardrobe area of the bedroom and also proper handles on the cupboard. The slip when pulled especially hard for anyone with hand grip issues, and perfect height for a child to hit their head on.

Summary: Enjoyed the stay and the location was accessible to all of central Berlin.
