Positive: Incredible 180-degree-plus view of the sea and village across the water - so tranquil and soothing. Jacuzzi tub on the balcony allowed us to "soak in" the view and facilitated sleep. Hosts were quick to respond with helpful information and offered to do things for us that made our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. So much to see/do in the area: hikes, beaches, little costal fishing villages, towns with neighborhood restaurants, sophisticated restaurants and cafes (try the Italian restaurant nearby), cable cars, observatories with outstanding views of the sea and autumn tree colors. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and created lasting memories of a wonderful time.

Positive: Beautiful tranquility location, next to the South Sea. The rooms clean and boutique-style pension, awesome views with outdoor BBQ facility. Walking distance to the Gujora Port ( 구조라 선착장) for the Haegeumgang (해금강) and Oedo ( 외도) cruise. Mr. Lee, owner of the pension is very nice; knowledgeable to the sights and restaurants. He is willing to give you ride to the restaurants, if you needed. We were very happy and came home with the great memories. I highly recommend Arasol Pension for nice accommodation!

Positive: We absolutely fell in love with this pension! We stayed during the winter off-season and had the privilege of occupying the most beautiful ocean-view room all to ourselves. The view outside our window was absolutely breathtaking! The room itself was incredibly spacious and immaculately clean, furnished with elegant simplicity. The floor heating system worked perfectly, keeping the room cozy and warm throughout our stay. We also appreciated the well-equipped, spacious kitchen where we enjoyed cooking ramen. While the excellent facilities and amenities left us thoroughly impressed, the true gem of this pension is undoubtedly its wonderful host. She was incredibly hospitable, warm, and thoughtful. Whenever we messaged her asking for local dining and sightseeing recommendations, she responded promptly and efficiently. Her recommendations were detailed and carefully curated. The grilled fish and oyster restaurants she suggested offered exceptional value for money. We're particularly grateful for her helpful tips about ferry ticket discounts and luggage storage at the POW Camp. Thanks to her recommendations, our trip was filled with unforgettable memories. We will definitely recommend this pension to all my friends. If I have the chance to visit Geoje Island again, I would absolutely choose to stay here again, and I look forward to seeing the host's warm smile once more. We wish her eternal health, happiness, and good fortune!

Positive: Beautiful ocean view with hot tub on the balcony made for a relaxing stay after a day of hiking around the gorgeous island. Owner was incredibly helpful and welcoming, (via translation apps!) offered to make us gimbap on our arrival and on other days. We were left alone during our stay which we appreciated, with fresh towels left on the door for us. Fast communication via the booking.com account messaging system if we needed to make contact with them. The pension is located on the south coast in between two beaches which were both walkable distances. The entire coast is just beautiful, so the pension is a great place to be located. On arrival, we got a taxi from Geoje bus station, the driver rang the property to double check location, then the owner was waiting for us at the property. On departure, the owners called a local taxi for us to get back up to the bus station. They were so friendly and welcoming. A great stay, very comfortable and clean. Would recommend, and would stay here again.
Negative: No fault of the property itself but we didn't have a car, and the buses are few and far between (e.g. 4 a day), so our days were very dependent on the bus times! We stayed during the end of October so it was lovely and quiet everywhere but we found we would end our days out at dinner in Geoje city in the north of the island, as more restaurants were opened there, then would have to taxi it back which wasn't a problem. Make sure you get bus timetables from the local website, and check the last bus times at the places you visit etc to plan your days accordingly! It did feel a sense of achievement getting around the island to time, especially as we don't speak Korean, and English is not widely used here like other areas in Korea! (There is no live bus tracking on Naver Maps app). Don't let the limited buses put you off, you just need to be a little more organised. We get spoilt with city living! We managed it just organising each day the night before! The island and its southern coast is worth it!
