Positive: We had a great stay here and found the quality of the facilities and service superior to some significantly “higher end” and more expensive stays we had in Thailand. The room was beautiful with a great large bathroom and comfy bed. The service was welcoming and eager to please. We enjoyed the made to order breakfast included.

Negative: The check out experience was a bit odd, they had to go inspect the room for damage while we waited in the lobby. The pool was fine for a quick dip but it was a bit lacking in feeling like a place you’d want to hang out in since it was just all concrete. I think some plants or something would add a bit of a good vibe.

Negative: Limited breakfast options. Dishes sometimes pre-cooked and cold. Limited fruit options. Pastries not fresh. Price for breakfast was premium and didn’t deliver. Pool didn’t appear great and questionable if filters were operating. We didn’t use for those reasons. No hooks for towels. Limited hangers for clothes. Room safe not secured.

Positive: Arco is a beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful staff. We loved everything about our stay. The room was clean and fresh. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We also loved the complimentary tea throughout our stay. The pool area is clean and relaxing. The hotel is a short walk to the ‘old town’. Breakfast was nice, I can recommend the yoghurt and French toast option.

Negative: The only thing I can think of is not enough ‘unpacking’ space/surface. But it really wasn’t an issue, just something which might bother other guests.
