Positive: everything was just perfect. the hosts kirsty and kevin are extremely warmhearted and friendly people that make you feel at home at once. the guest house is within easy reach of the centre of aviemore but very quiet. the cosy room offers a lovely view to the garden where you may see deer that feed on the blossoms of the apple tree. the breakfast is absolutely delicious and kirsty was so kind to make us sandwiches and tea as we had to leave early.

Negative: pity we had to leave after four wonderful days

Positive: Beautiful, clean, comfortable rooms in an absolutely gorgeous location. Kirsty & Kev were delightful and friendly hosts who cooked amazing delicious breakfasts and gave helpful tips for sightseeing and walks. The guest house is conveniently located in Aviemore (train, shops, pubs / restaurants) but also quiet and easy for car parking.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay - highly recommend.

Positive: Wonderful stay. The accommodations are comfortable and well cared for, and Kirsty and Kev are kind and attentive hosts. They had so much energy and enthusiasm. They are the best! They helped with our daily plans and offered lots of local insight. They are the stars of this place! Breakfast was a highlight. Every evening you could select what you want for breakfast. They had every option you can imagine. We loved the fresh fruit, yogurt, pancakes, and delicious eggs from their own chickens. It was a huge spread of delicious and thoughtfully prepared food. My son especially loved the fruit and pancakes. Plus you could chat with Kirsty and Kev! I don’t know how we will go back home to our normal breakfast routine. Would definitely stay here again! It was brilliant.

Positive: Amazing stay! Room was clean, large and comfortable, which included a welcome basket with an easter egg! Everyday when the tea and coffee was replenished, so was a treat! I loved a tunnocks teacake after getting home from a long hike! Beautiful views out over the garden and river beyond, whixh was lovely to watch the sunset from. Bathroom was compact but exceptionally clean with lovely toiletries. And the shower pressure was amazing!! Hosts were the most kind and welcoming people that you would ever meet. Happy to give advice on the local area, especially on hikes. I dont know how they managed to remember everyone's names! Nothing was too much and they were always offering more teas and coffees etc at breakfast. They were genuinely interested in what you had done the previous day and would offer any tips for planning the day ahead, which is especially welcome with their local weather knowledge! Breakfast was absolutely incredible! Everything i had was amazing, I miss the fruit pancakes! The eggs were from the chickens in the garden, who it was lovely to say hello to as you entered/exited the house. Seriously, it's worth booking for the breakfast alone- amazing! The location was lovely and quiet, and only a couple of minutes walk away from the train station, shops, restaurants and buses. Perfectly located. As a solo traveller I felt incredibly safe I would 100% stay again, thank you Kirsty and Kev for an amazing stay!

Positive: Even the grandson was very happy to stay here. This is our second visit and it lived up to our expectations. Was a last minute booking as it's normally fully booked when we try. The breakfasts are exceptional espeically with the eggs laid by the hens you talk to as you go in and out.

Positive: Our family stayed with Kev and Kirsty for two nights and though we arrived in the middle of the night, we immediately felt safe and welcomed in their beautiful little b&b, in which they put so much care and love. We loved starting our day with eggs from the chickens outside of our window and need to come back to try all their amazing breakfast options. two of our family members celebrated their birthdays during the stay and Kirsty and Kev made us feel like extended family. we are very happy to come back whenever our way will guide us back to Scotland! thanks a lot !!!
