Positive: It’s a very beautiful property with lovely facilities and a lovely beach.

Negative: The lights in our room didn’t work for half of our stay. Our door didn’t work properly so the cleaners ended up leaving our door open for the whole day so anyone could have taken anything. One of the staff members wasn’t too friendly.

Summary: It was such a beautiful place that was let down by poorly run staff and a door and light that didn’t work properly.

Positive: Arennas is the 5 star beachfront hotel in the area. The hotel staff was attentive, the room & facilities were well maintained.

Negative: There is a 5km stretch of narrow bumpy dirt road to reach the hotel. It is not a good location for walking. The price is high compared to most of Mancora.

Positive: The staff from the restaurant, bar and cleaning services were really nice, but some of the staff from reception were not as nice or helpful. The view from the rooms is wonderful.

Negative: I think this hotel is one of the nicest place to stay in Mancora, but is too expensive for what it provides. Room service has an extra charge and the restaurant closes early. The gym is very small.

Positive: Beautiful palm garden. Bungalows are spacious with Comfortable beds. Very kind personnel. Specially Garry was very kind as a waiter and advisor.

Negative: Horrible last 5 kilometers of the road to the hotel. Not advised to people with back problems. For others location is perfect.

Summary: Beautiful stay. Bit pricey but worth of the money

Positive: Excellent place to wind down at the end of our trip to Peru. The staff were lovely and helpful, especially Juan. Plenty of selection on the menu so did not leave the hotel for the 5 days that we were there. Lots of activities in the hotel and a beautiful sunset each night.

Negative: The only negatives were that the water temperature in the shower did not get up to full heat and the service in the restaraunt could be a bit slow at times, depending on how busy they were.

Positive: Comfortable, hospitable, very welcoming, give you free snacks here and there which is a nice touch. They make it obvious you are in a nice resort. Pool is very nice and hot tub. Served food late, and restaurant is good.
