2 Bedroom Cottage in Argyle

Cottage Guesthome that sits on the back of our 1 acre home lot with an oversized saltwater pool that includes small waterfalls and diving board, as well as a separate above ground hot tub. Private back patio with a grill, seating, birdfeeders, and tree line. A little country feeling ~ you may hear horses, cows, chickens, as well as trains that run through our small town of Argyle. Located in a quiet neighborhood. During the summer months, feel free to pick fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden!
Super clean cottage/guesthome with a full kitchen that includes all utensils, cookware, and dishes. There are 2 bathrooms (1/2 upstairs and a full on the main floor). There is an open queen bedroom upstairs with a large walk in closet. There is a small bedroom on the main floor with a full bed. The couch in the living room pulls out into a full sized bed as well. *Please note that the number of guests allowed is 6, however the sizes of beds are as follows: 1 queen, 1 full, and 1 pull-out full.
Enjoy the use of the private large pool (30,000 gallon pool in which comfortable swimming months are typically May - September, seasonally dependent as the pool is NOT heated), as well as the hot tub, swing (swing at your own risk), and outdoor games like frisbee golf. Please note that there is not a fence around the pool or hot tub and there are no lifeguards on duty. Please swim at your own risk.
Plentiful towels, sheets, pillows, blankets, as well as soft and fluffy robes provided. We think the small things are what makes the difference, therefore soak in the tub with the provided Epsom salts, use the handmade goats milk soap and the homemade lavender spray on your pillow before bedtime. For your entertainment, puzzles, board games, TV's, Roku, DVD Player, DVDs, books, and magazines await.
Close to DFW airport, UNT, TWU, Texas Motor Speedway with access to all of DFW.

Summary: My fiancé, myself, and another couple stayed at Angela and Nick's cottage over the weekend to attend UNT's homecoming game. We were absolutely blown away with how amazing our stay was!! The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and absolutely gorgeous. The cottage is in the backyard of the hosts and they made us feel completely at home! Not only was the cottage clean and cozy, but Angela added all the right details to make this the perfect place to stay. Fresh flowers, a handwritten note welcoming us to the cottage and inviting us to take herbs from their garden, plenty of supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms (including water bottles and other drinks, shampoo and conditioner, and plenty of towels!), and even their own brand of freeze-dried candies that were delicious! And more! The cottage was a short drive to the DATCU stadium and the Denton Square. We loved our short time at the cottage and hope to be back for homecoming next year! Thank you so much, Angela and Nick, for creating such a lovely experience for us!

Summary: We arrived late Friday night, the cottage was easy find and in a beautiful neighborhood. It was close to city amenities with a county feel. Angela, the hostess was wonderful and put many personal touches to make for a comfortable stay. It was a wonderful time and a wonderful place to call home away from home.

Summary: We were in town for a sporting event and this place was absolutely perfect. Not just location and cleanliness, but the attention to detail was also fantastic, and the thoughtfulness of the amenities was 1st rate. The check-in was a breeze and the owners left us a little welcome note, amazing candies and had the hot tub and pool area ready for some R&R. The instructions on everything were super easy and the owners were on top of their comms. This was one of the better stays I've had, and that is saying something. Big thank you to Angela and Nick!!!!

Summary: Was lovely when we git there had so muchboutdoors activities when we got there had to leave due to family emergency. I didn't ask for any refund or ask for one they returned the money on their own free will to me for the day i left early. I was surprised when I saw it on my account statement and very greatful I will definitely book them again for another occasion in the near future such great hosts.

Summary: Nick and Angela were amazing hosts! the property was 100% as described and more! Easy check in access. Facilities were clean and allowed us to visit with our family while attending our sons wedding at a nearby venue. I cannot say enough about their hospitality. Lot's of "extra" touches from treats to sunscreens for pool time.

Summary: This was our first VRBO stay ever and it exceeded ALL of my expectations. The hosts were so accommodating and had everything we could have possibly needed in the cottage when we arrived. They were kind and checked in multiple times to make sure our stay was going well. The cottage and property were beautiful and the pool was a big hit for my child. We hope to return in the future!!!
