Positive: The staff were so lovely at the Arif cave hotel. They were so personable and friendly and very helpful! They helped book all my excursions during my stay. The breakfast was amazing every morning and the view from the hotel was incredible!

Negative: My only small complaint was that since it is a cave hotel it is hard to have noise barriers between the rooms so you could sometimes hear the people in the room next door.

Positive: Everything! Located up a short hill and easily walkable to restaurants. We stayed in the diary chimney and could see the uchisair castle in the distance. The room also had its own balcony/porch over looking the city. Incredibly attentive manager and staff. Had water in room everyday for tea and coffee. It has a small fridge. They even held our luggage since we still had time in city after checkout. They also have a lobby for waiting. Pro-tip: a lot of people pay to access sunset view point for pictures, and because of the location of this hotel, you get to go up for free.

Negative: Nothing to dislike

Summary: Amazing and I would stay here again.

Positive: Great location overlooking Goreme just below Sunset Point. My balcony had a phenomenal view, great to go to sleep to and wake up to. Han was super friendly and helpful recommending restaurants and places to go. Rest of staff were super friendly as well..

Positive: Breakfast with homemade dishes, turkish dishes including omelette and fresh coffee. Plus I was upgraded the room which has a private balcony. On the last day, I wasn’t fine with chilliness and headache. Han helped me with his medicines and he let me rest/sleep on the terrace where there are full of cushions. Super helpful

Positive: Our stay at Arif Cave Hotel was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Han and his wonderful team, whose hospitality made us feel right at home. Their service was truly top-notch — attentive, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Our room was bright, spacious, and beautifully designed, with a gorgeous view of the Göreme Valley. Though the hotel is a little hike from the town center, the location more than makes up for it with its breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere. It even has special access to the Göreme Sunrise Point, though honestly, the terraces offer spectacular views of the hot air balloons at sunrise and the sun setting behind Uchisar — truly magical moments we’ll never forget. The breakfast was generous and delicious, with plenty of hot dishes and a wide variety of choices. The hotel was also well-equipped with amenities, making our stay comfortable in every way. Overall, Arif Cave Hotel gave us exactly what we dreamed of — a 5-star Cappadocia experience full of warmth, comfort, and incredible scenery. Highly recommended!

Positive: A wonderful place. We stayed in Cappadocia for 3 days and spent each night in a different cave hotel to compare – and this one was by far the best! The room was clean, cozy, and free of dampness (which can sometimes be an issue in such places). The hotel also has a fantastic shared terrace where you can watch the hot air balloons. But the highlight was the breakfast – I’ve never had such a varied and delicious hotel breakfast before. In addition to the buffet, the hotel serves omelets, traditional Turkish pastries, toast, and sausages, all freshly prepared just for you. The service was phenomenal. The gentleman at the reception (unfortunately I don’t remember his name) gave us excellent recommendations on what to do in Cappadocia – we tried them all, and they were fantastic. There is also a very kind young man working there, something like a concierge – Mustafa – who was always happy to help us with our luggage. Truly the best place to stay if you want to experience Goreme.

Negative: We booked a room with a view, but to be honest the view was not that impressive. The view from the shared terrace is definitely much nicer, so I would actually recommend choosing a room without a view, which is cheaper, and spending more nights at the hotel instead. This is not really a downside, just my recommendation for future guests.
