Positive: Very close to Bromo crater (10 min if in the afternoon, probably 30 min if in the morning. And to KingKong Viewpoint 1:30h morning, Seruni viewpoint 15 min if you leave early morning) View of breakfast and some rooms is great (though not of Bromo, just a valley & a mountain)

Negative: Very small cabins, very cold in the evening though they provide a tiny heater There are stairs to get to some rooms and they don’t provide help to transport big luggages there. We called help in the morning and they were super slow so we ended up going up ourselves Price overall VERY expensive vs our other stays in Indonesia esp for a 3-star, but I guess it’s Bromo

Negative: The lobby and restaurant has very strong aroma smell that I am allergic to.

Positive: The property is spectacular. On top of the mountain.

Negative: The road leading to the property was not paved. No signage, not enough toilet paper, shower door didn’t shut.

Summary: Off they make a few minor adjustments it will be a 5 star hotel

Positive: Good dining options, location, and especially the staffs. On the first day we had a mini heater that sounded like helicopter taking off, when we asked for replacement, the staff sent one to us within 5 minutes. Also they were very helpful and attentive on other stuffs.

Negative: The exhaust in the room could be quite noisy, we had to turn it off at night.

Positive: The location is great and secluded and the hotel is pretty new. Appreciate that the restaurant is open 24hrs because there is not much for food options in this area.

Negative: The cleanliness was lacking in some areas, and the amount of bugs at this hotel is shocking to be honest. At this elevation I couldn’t believe the amount of flies everywhere, and we were here during the rainy season so I can imagine it’s worse at peak travel season. If you sit outside at their restaurant it’s near impossible to keep the flies off of your food. The rooms do not have AC, there is a vent fan that pulls in outside air. When we arrived the room was very hot, and thankfully we got the room to cool down keeping the fan on but it took some time because you need a room key to keep the power on. Can’t imagine how hot it gets in these rooms during peak travel season without the rain.

Summary: Good location and new facilities, but need to improve cleanliness/reduce bugs and pests. Would be great to install a

Positive: It’s a stunning location right next to the Bromo volcano - very convenient for a tour. The cabins are nice and secluded, with great views. The same can be said for the restaurant and the terrace. The food and breakfast buffet were very nice as well, and they also arrange breakfast boxes for any tours you want to do. The staff was kind and helpful, we had a wonderful stay.

Negative: It may feel secluded, but it’s right where you want to be for a Bromo tour. I would recommend this over staying further away!
