Summary: The villa is surrounded my lush vegetation, and overlooks the shared pool. The indoor/outdoor feeling of the villa was heavenly. There were no mosquitos, and we were happy to leave all the doors open while we were home. The location is a 5 mi ute walk to Gibbes Beach, which is probably the loveliest, quietest, most idillic setting I could ever imagine. Best beach I've ever been to in my life. If you'd like something more lively and serviced, you can walk an extra 5 minutes to Mullins, or take a quick 5 minute drive south to Thunderbay, and run a tab with Simone for a delicious lunch, cheap beer and chaise loungers. Although the area is walkable, we recommend getting a car to have easy access to grocery stores, sightseeing, and quick drives to Holetown and Speightstown. Cabs are cheap but they add up.

Summary: This is such a great location, just a 5 minute walk to Gibbes Beach which is one of our favorite places in Barbados. The villa is very spacious. Each of the bedrooms have a bathroom. The baby amenities - pack and play and high chair -were perfect. And the private terrace was really lovely. The parking was very convenient - directly in front of the villa. The cleaning staff came once during our week long stay and they did a great job. The common pool area was nice. Not too crowded but you can meet some other families. A few things that could be determining factors for some (but wasn't for us): - the living room and kitchen area is semi-open to the outdoors. There are only shutter doors along the terrace. And it's not sealed at the eaves so you have to be careful not to leave any food out, and bugs can come in so you have to make sure to close the doors to the bedrooms when not in use. - the place could definitely use an update/spruce - there is no dishwasher - I would have been fine with this but I couldn't find a plug to fill the sink with water ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ - one of the showers was not great. It was really difficult to control the temperature and the water pressure was poor. But the shower in the second washroom was fine so we just used that one for showers. Luckily we were just a couple with a toddler.

Summary: My family of 3 (10 yr old son) stayed here for 6 nights after a week in the south island. The property has 3 villas and a great house, each one is steps from an awesome pool and surrounded by lush tropical grounds full of wildlife including daily monkeys and tropical birds.. After a week in the south it was so refreshing to stay in the serenity of this place. 5 min walk to Gibbs beach which was my favourite beach on the island and is one of the nicest beaches Iโ€™ve ever been to. Sarah and the staff were amazing. There are a few restaurants that are walkable (Jamaican place was amazing) but for groceries we just took the public buses which was super easy (and cheap)to Speitztown. The room opens up to the amazing atmosphere, and the patios were the best for morning coffees and evening wines. For someone who wants to relax this is the place.!

Summary: As regulars to Barbados, our stay in Ascot Villa was the first time we welcomed our closest friends to share some time with us! It was a beautiful stay. Sarah was wonderful and responsive. We highly recommend!!! One regret - we only discovered Gibbs Bay on our last day. (Shouldโ€™ve listened to Sarah.). Beautiful, comfortable snorkeling, a tad rocky and truly a 5 min walk down the road.

Summary: The property is great close enough for a short walk to hit the beach and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the road. Sarah the property manager is awesome she is very knowledgeable about the island. Would definitely come back again.

Summary: My family and I had a wonderful stay in Barbados in Feb. The villa was spotless, spacious and close to a beautiful beach (5mins walk). Loved the multiple doors that open onto landscaped grounds and the private outside space for dining and watching the birds and monkeys. Sarah, the property manager, was brilliant!! She made our stay so easy, giving great advice and sorting out cheap car hire. My kids loved her too! The highlight for our 7 yr old son was hanging out and helping the pool maintenance man, who was really patient and kind (thank you Ricardo). I would stay here again without hesitation!

Summary: My son and I enjoyed having meals on our private patio every day. The grounds were lovely and the green monkeys entertained us every few days. The property manager was a gracious host. Sarah was very approachable, friendly, and accommodating throughout the duration of our stay. The short walk to Gibbes beach daily was a highlight of our trip. We visited several beaches in Barbados over a few weeks; however, our โ€œownโ€ beach was one of the best on the island for swimming and relaxing.

Summary: Lovely property offering us as two couples everything we needed especially the two bedrooms each with en-suite. Great outside space and use of a shared swimming pool and barbeque. Short walk to the beach and to be able to pick up the local buses. Everyone was very friendly and we loved the island and hope to return very soon.
