Summary: First room air conditioner did not work, they found us another room. The nearest door to the outside that was close to our room also did not work and we were told to only use the main door at the other end of the hallway. Bugs (moths, I think) in the hallways to the rooms, none in the rooms. Bathroom fan did not work. Beds low and soft, could not get a restful sleep.

Summary: Could have new mattresses and pillows. Pool and hot tub were not available. Mold along the floor by the bath tub.

Summary: Entry doors, windows, air conditioner and comforter all need updating. Freshening up paint will make it more appealing. Weeds and outdoor light posts make the property look terribly run down. Like the newer sink and toilet and tv. The staff are VERY nice and helpful.

Summary: There was no working air conditioning. The curtains had tears all over them. The windows were in disrepair. The bed was comfortable though. I would not stay there again. Confused why this hotel was in the condition it was when they also own Aspen Lodge and another hotel in Grand Marias that are much nicer!

Summary: Older place but was fine. The heater needed to be cleaned and the cover was broken. Room was clean otherwise.

Summary: This is a budget hotel, with very few amenities. Breakfast was minimal and coffee was terrible. Staff was very friendly.

Summary: Room and bathroom were very clean. Plenty of hot water in the shower, Bed was decent and pillows better than average. Nice being able park right outside the room. I enjoyed my stay and will be a repeat guest next time I am up on the North Shore

Summary: Good value. Good location just outside Grand Marais. Family suite had 2 rooms and slept 6, which was what we needed. Person at the desk was friendly and personable.

Summary: Breakfast was pretty weak. Super tiny breakfast area. Had to go down the road to a sister hotel to use the pool and hot tub, which was not real convenient. But the price was very good, room was clean, and I guess you get what you pay for.
