Summary: I booked thinking the reviews were good. Location was good, walkable to restaurants and waterfront. Worn and ripped carpet in hallways were not impressive. Room seemed clean but was old: chipped sink/toilet ran all night/ac had a note not to run all day. Laundry broken, coke machine empty. Breakfast was all carbs. There were nicer looking options nearby.

Summary: Hotel was fine, but there were lots of minor annoyances that added up. Room keys needed multiple resets. Too few towels for the number of guests. Smelly trash next to the exterior door was never emptied. Property is overrun with invasive creeping bellflower. Sauna was extremely slow to warm up. We never got to use it because it didn't come up to temp after more than 40 minutes. View of Lake Superior was nice.

Summary: The property overall was very good. Rooms were very generous in size with a good selection of toiletries. The bed was old and very springy. They need to update the beds. The continental breakfast left something to be desired. The only fruit was oranges snd they didn’t look very good. Just cold cereal, toast, muffins and strawberry yogurt.

Summary: Its about what you'd expect with an older hotel/lodge. There were things needing fixed like caulking the bathroom or tightening the fixtures so it doesn't move and eventually break. The lobby had what looked like welcome fixtures for a baby shower than for the lodge. Pool sauna and hot tub old but worked.

Summary: The pool smelt like mould . The deck outside had weeds growing in between the boards, not well-maintained. The grass around the whole property was long and it looked like it was abandoned from the outside.

Summary: This hotel needs outlets that are NOT behind the beds! Other hotels have lamps with outlets but this one does not. Between computers phones and even my bikes derailleur I was having to push the box spring out to access outlets.
