Summary: Our first impression entering the lobby was lots of trash in the flower gardens by front door. The yard was not maintained and the grass was not cut, Our room was on the third floor but there was no elevators. It was very difficult for my wife after her recent knee surgery. The breakfast was only continental, not as advertised. For the price we paid for this stay it was not worth it. We would not stay there again.

Summary: The outter window in our room was broken, a crack running the entire length of the window. The television setup, only streaming services, no local channels etc. really was not up to par. The hot tub we were told works heats about 50% of the time. The staff didn't really seem that attentive though they were friendly.

Summary: Place is clean but could use some repairs. Noticed tiles falling off the wall in the lobby/kitchen area. Room was clean. Bathroom fan was super load. hope it did not annoy the neighbors. Bathroom sink was cracked. Towel rack in bathroom fall off the wall. it was not installed properly. They could update the 80's furniture in the room. Needs outlets for phone chargers by nightstand. Continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Summary: The hotel was very dated. The furniture and curtains in our room and in the seating area of the lobby were very old and tattered. The carpets had stains all over them. The bathroom and jetted tub were very clean. What we paid for one night in this room we can get 2 nights at a hotel in the twin cities.

Summary: Clean, spacious room with a nice view. NO ELEVATOR!!! Room needs some repairs…ceiling is falling apart, the a/c is very loud and can’t be run all day per their request. Had 2 blinking lights in our room from detectors, towel rack fell apart, wall outlet covers falling off. Unwelcoming person at check in and check out

Summary: We only stayed one night in Grand Maris. The room was clean, but dated. It served its purpose. Grand Maris is an entranceway to a lot of nature, hunting, fishing, etc. The town itself is okay.
