Positive: We loved our stay at the Assisi Garden Suite in a great location just inside the Porta Nuova of Assisi. It is a spacious apartment (really a very big studio) on the ground floor of a medieval building, and has been nicely modernised though it maintains the original vaulted ceilings. It has the unusual feature of a well maintained totally enclosed private garden which is a huge plus for dog owners like us, with the additional bonus of a great view to the valley below. We were travelling with a lot of luggage so it was nice to be able to off-load this from our car in front of the house, even though it is within the Assisi ZTL (after this we parked the car in the nearby Porta Nuevo parking garage, easily accessible to the apartment via an escalator). The apartment is well equipped with good wifi, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable memory foam mattress bed and masses of hanging space. Rita who greeted us could not have been nicer or more helpful and was also really welcoming to our large dog! Thoroughly recommended.

Positive: Roberto and Rita were perfect hosts. They gave us maps lots of information about Assisi. We loved the spacious apartment with its beautiful valley views. The location was perfect within the historic centre and close to the bus stop.
Negative: There was nothing we did not like.

Positive: Everything. The house is nice and the garden really lovely. Situated in the quite end of town, yet close to all you need and the incredible town of Assisi. Roberto and Rita are most welcoming, helpful and caring.

Positive: Location is perfect. Close to public parking and great for exploring Assisi and surrounding villages. Roberto, the owner, was extremely well organised, knowledgeable and always willing to help. An amazing stay and if we return to Assisi it is a no brainer that we will book this place again.

Negative: It was very cold on arrival and we were informed that we had to pay extra for gas and electric if we used over a small daily allowance. Booking.com stated free local car parking but Roberto directed us to a car park that cost 10 euros a day, after a few days we noticed that the free car park was next to the car park we were in.
