Positive: Excellent location for wandering around Paris. Many popular locations all within walking distance. Excess of good restaurants in the area. Having a top floor flat with a lift was great. The view isn't of any major monuments, but it is an iconic Paris skyline regardless. Faces inside courtyard so it is quiet even though you are in the middle of a vibrant neighbourhood.

Negative: The lighting in the bathroom could be better.

Summary: Well located top floor apartment with lift.

Positive: The ownet Samuel had been extremely hospitable and accommodated to all our reqests! Apartment was cozy and has beautiful views. Close to many historic sites and all kinds of restaurants and stores. Two metro stations are close by too! Highly reconmend!

Positive: Well furnished apartment in a nice bustling area of Paris. Supermarkets, Cafes and Metro stations all close at hand. The host was most attentive. On the fifth floor, but building had an elevator.

Negative: Shower area could have been a bit bigger.

Positive: Fantastic location! Close to everything and across the road from a great bakery, which had queues out of the door at lunchtime, with supermarkets and restaurants close by. The apartment had everything needed and the lift was very welcome. The apartment had high quality fittings with an eclectic feel. The host was very receptive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Negative: We were disappointed. The appartment looked to us realy difrent then in pictures. The pictures are white and with light, in reality the electricity lights is poor, and the ferniture and kitchen is very dark. The kitchen dishes where un nice and some where cracked. The cutting board was dirty. The dining area was very small and in transition area so it was uncomfortable to dine there. The double bed was very small and there was no place to put close in. Ventilation exits from the bathroom to living room. If you are used to 2 stars tiny rooms in paris you might love it. But if you are used to 3-4 stars well equipped hotels i believe you will be disappointed too. The shower is not comfortable and old. Towels are in a very simple standart, as meny other things. Defenetly not 4-5 stars, and we thought unsuccessful value for money. We took the appartment for 16 nights and left after 4 or 5 nights, we have never did this before.

Positive: The location was very close to everywhere most of the time, if you like walking it’s your type.Sacre Couer, Museum Orsay, Louvre, even Eiffel Tower.. Around Xmas time most restaurants would be closed but after Boxing Day they were open, the house is close to markets and restaurants. Also Pierre was very helpful, his house is very clean and you have all the stuff you need in open kitchen. The house is warm and silent. Thanks for his hospitality
