Positive: We were met by both the property owner and manager who showed us around the property and gave us detailed information about how to make the most of our stay. Recommendations on taxi apps, areas of Athens, restaurants and trips were really appreciated. The owner is an extremely interesting man who told us stories and historical facts about Greece, which added to our trip. The home is beautifully and authentically decorated and the pool is sublime. Approx. 7 Euros into the centre of Athens using a taxi.
Negative: Nothing. The owner has thought of everything you may need.
Summary: Simply perfect! Beautiful home and pool in a great location!

Positive: We liked the location, the space for a large family, and the rooftop area. The kitchen is really well equipped and our hosts left us some chilled drinks to use. The hosts were very accommodating when we asked to leave our luggage at checkout time. We loved the privacy, and the different seating areas - there was plenty of space so we didn’t feel crowded.
Negative: The light pollution at night through the communal stairwell makes it difficult for anyone on the bed in the living area. The spiral stairs to the roof area would be improved with a handrail.

Positive: We loved our stay in this apartment. Obviously, the rooftop pool/sitting areas with its extraordinary view of Athens was its most unique attribute. But we also liked that it was someone’s actual home, decorated in a much more interesting manor than most apartment rentals theses days. Tour family includes 4 adult children and everyone was happy here. Comfortable furniture and beds, well stocked kitchen and good ac when needed. Plus the owner, Dimitris, was on hand to welcome us and give us insights and suggestions for visiting the city. He allowed us to drop our luggage off before the apartment was ready and made reservations at a lovely restaurant overlooking the Acropolis for us (Cafe Avvissinia) He was super easy to communicate with. While others have spoken of its quick proximity to the metro, we tended to use Uber which was pretty reasonable and got us to the main tourist areas in 10 minutes. All in all a very enjoyable place for our base in Athens.
Negative: As others have pointed out the showers were small but this is true for much of Europe.

Positive: Great property, solid location at the foot of Lycabettus Hill. Our host, the owner, met us and walked us through his home. The rooftop pool was our main reason for booking this property and it was a joy to use for us and the kids for many hours, with an incredible view of Athens.
